Yea. This may be true for friendly-sized bets, not 4/5 figure amounts.

I would have no problem with any of my friends betting against me (as long as they didn't do anything to effect the outcome). I'd prefer it a lot more for a friend to take a +EV bet against me than a -EV bet on me.

It's all relative bro. 4/5 fig bets are friendly for some people. For guys like Gates and Buffet an 8 figure bet might be considered "friendly".

So that I cant scam, because I have an agreement with the ensurance, that they are forced to take the money from my bank account in case I loose.

The other person would obv just send them the money, which I would get from them when I win.

Sounds like a 100% sure arrangement, ... if its a possible way to do it.

Is this understandable now? I realy want to make a bet and want to know if it functionates like this, cause this is the only way I could do it...

You can make odd offers right now if the method is legit
I'm not even sure how you'd facilitate such a guarantee. The closest I can think of is a Letter of Credit but to facilitate a bet? Can't see it...

I know someone will probably say this is stupid, but if they're splitting tables at $50k effective stacks, why didn't FTP just set a cap on the tables so they wouldn't go over it?

It looks like they might be nixing the 250bb rule, or atleast not doing it for this session. They have both been over 50k on table 3 for a while now, they keep playing.

Sauce has been playing under 100bb on one of the tables for a while now.

Time to start thinking about buying out. His "revolutionary" limping on the button strategy and "different" style doesn't seem to be working well.

Yeah, he's running -50bb/100 bc he's a fish and not bc he runs atrociously bad. I appreciate the challenge like I appreciate mangojuice but 15k hands is so meh. Step down to 50/100 or even lower and play 100k hands instead. Not like it's action 24/7 on nosebleeds anyways and I think both guys are not only in it for the manies anyways.

I have nowhere near the ability to judge what's been going on in the challenge, (haven't even watched any of it actually)

I was just hoping for a quick summary of what's happening so far if anybody on here is good enough to understand what's been going on - I'm just wondering - Is Sauce running bad/playing bad? Is he using his "unique strategy" that jungle was talking about and WCG is countering well? Or is WCG just running very good/playing good? What the dealio? anybody?
