I think I'm completely insane or ******ed or something. I don't like Daniel, yet I'm very happy to see him make the final table so early in the WSOP. Wtf.

It's like Tiger Woods or even Phil Ivey, I am sure they are both *******s in real life, but everybody likes to see a familiar winner back on top. Reminds us of the "good old days"

What familiar winner? He finisjed 6th out of 204 players for 52k. Probably will be his best WSOP result this year lol.

He cashed for 52K in prize money, but it was a bounty shootout, so that total is without the bounties he earned.

Yes Daniel was married for a year + previously (from wikipedia):

In August 2005, he married Lori Lin Weber. They separated in November 2007 and later divorced.[13] In May 2019 he married Amanda Leatherman.[14]

He also wears a wedding ring in High Stakes Poker's season 1 which premiered early 2006, if anyone needs some more confirmation
(not sure about season 2 tho)

I do enjoy his WSOP vlogs and they deserve a lot of credit imo, easily the best vlog outhere, i find them very refreshing in comperison to Neeme/Owen boring same stuff...no matter what you think about DN but his WSOP vlogs are owning all other **** outhere.

I still remember the first few years of my poker fandom there was nobody I enjoyed to watch more and nobody I admired more. I couldn't imagine liking anyone in poker the way I admired him.

By around the time the Pokerstars Big Game came out (maybe before, but definitely by then), I was completely over him and his act and it was so cringeworthy the way he behaved. Players like Hellmuth became more human in my eyes compared to the fakeness and passive aggressive way Daniel handled himself.

championship poker at the plaza. i watched the rerun of DN's win against freddy deeb a stupid number of times. it was pretty inspiring getting insight into the bobby's room game, dnegs was the man.

This is his third marriage, first one was to a Korean. There's a documentary about him from around the pokerboom where he flies her out for a final table.
