Ah, you've really exposed yourself here. Those above working class are not automatically "posh" and you thinking so would lead me to believe you're somewhat of a "chav". There are people in between working class and "posh", the main being the middle class. However, you obviously see these people as being posh themselves so I guess there's no helping you, you must be on the bottom rung of societies ladder.

With regards to speaking to women, I work in a area whereby the majority of people I deal with are women. My gf has a large group of female friends whom I speak to on a regular basis also, not to mention my own from college and elsewhere. However, I will concede that I don't talk to working class people and by extension working class women all that often. I'm grateful of that though, I will say. I don't think we're going to see eye to eye on the matter so perhaps we should leave it at that.

I also never claimed chav's are middle class, if you read that correctly it insinuated that chav's believe that those above working class are "posh" and by extension, as the poster believed that themselves then they must be a chav. Believe me, I've nothing but contempt for chavs.

With regards to true freedom of society in the US, really? On the face of it, there appears to be a lot more social division in the US than elsewhere. I'd be surprised to find evidence to the contrary.
