Wasn't great poker, but it was entertaining. Would like to see more grudge matches.

Mike being a clown and playing generally terrible more than made up for her awful smugness.

Observations:

- Cate played very well

- Dentale played ok for part of the first match, but then became a horrible calling station and that carried over into match #2

- Cate got hit hard with the deck, but was clearly the better player

- Why were phones allowed at the table? Cate checked her phone often, and she was clearly getting updates & advice

- Disappointing that the PNIA secondary stream (with no commentary) never worked

- Polk/Deeb were very good at talking strategy, but not so good at quieting down when the rare table talk took place

- For such an outspoken, brash tweeter, Cate was surprisingly quiet and boring during this match, even when Dentale directly engaged her


Suggestions for future HU matches on PNIA:

- No cell phones allowed at table

- Announcers need to be told to shut up when players are talking

- Make sure no-commentary secondary stream works

- Make sure graphics showing board match the exact order of cards shown on the board

- Have players agree beforehand to both pre and post game interviews

To be fair, i think Cate knew she could win the verbal war by just letting Mikey talk. He was doing all the damage for her.

Easy bro. Mike's a solid guy. Easily the more technically proficient when compared with the woman. Can't do much when the cards run so bad against you.

More technically proficient? Are you insane? He wanted to argue with Polk and Deeb that his raise on the last hand was good. It wasn't ... nothing worse is calling and nothing better is folding and just calling keeps bluffs in her range. He literally did not understand the point.

Make definitely has better speech play but his fundamentals are terrible.

He's necessarily going broke in that spot, but jamming the turn is a poorly-reasoned decision.

Mike certainly played like someone who didn't have 30k at stake.
