Can we discuss Cereus specifically? Can we discuss Cereus specifically?

I posted the warning email I got about the geo-block coming.. Happened a lil sooner then I thought, like 3 days later. But here it is.. so now everyone can stop complaining about getting raked.. (seems like about the dumbest thing to complain about in this whole situation)

BC if i never get my money back wtf do i care if they rake my pretend money..
and if I get my money back, then they were charging the fee that is industry standard and continuing to offer games where other sites didn't.

In fact, as I stated right away, if raking players, as they and everybody always had, meant there was a better chance that WE would get paid, then we all should have been continuing to play if we had the ability.. but I understand why people didn't.

Because you know they are going to screw over US players. They are the only site of the BIG 3 since Black Friday to place a limit on non-us withdrawals($500).

It's obv they don't have the money to pay their players and that they didn't keep players br's in segregated accounts.

F U AB!

FTP doesn't seems to have placed money in segregated accts either.. since they haven't paid up.
But ur right the $ restrictions is suspect. But it could be for more reason other than the don't have it..

If that is the case, how is Poker Scout able to show stats from other non-US facing sites?

People who still have cash on Cereus will be hoping that this is just a temporary glitch in Poker Scout's stat tracking ability.

Fairly sure DOJ has taken/seized/stolen a really high % of their cash that is why they cant pay. FTP same boat probably a lesser % tho and they are credible so they'd be getting plenty of new deposits as well

Some1 just hit BB JP lol prolly IS going to end up being the worst badbeat possible

OMG. This gets even better. AP is just a bunch of scam artists. The first night after they block US players from real cash games, the BBJ goes off!!!

Give me my phucking refund for all the money I dumped into the jackpot you thieves!

SO TILTED

I hope they are all arraigned and the key is thrown out

Haha, was it won by a US player using the loophole they left in?

Hmmmm....

Yes, I do think I see EG more as Inigo than as Fezzik.

"Hello. My name is Eleven Grover. You killed UB. Prepare to die!"

The determination is a match.

This was posted on a different forum by a user named fatboy11. I have no idea if what he/she claims is true.

"Subject: The UB Jackpot

The $260k BBJ just hit and the TWO winners weren't even playing at any table, when checked from AP/UB Buddy. Infact, there was no FLH table running at ANY STAKE at that time. Notice how the 2 remaining players won only $1000 when they should have won much more, considering there was nobody else to split the BBJ. Also, notice the "-2" at the bottom.

Also, if you PTR the player OCTOBERSMILE and check their sessions, you will see a few 2/4 FLH HU hands played a few hours before the BBJ but nothing during the time they apparently won it. Remember the BBJ requires minimum 4 players to hit the BBJ. Also, if you PTR the second player FEDER28, they never played any such session and also, he has never played higher than 1/2 and his primary game is 0.10/0.25 NLH"

UB/AP buddy lists are notoriously slow to update, at least 30 minutes off in my experience from the time a player logs on to the time it lists them as on the site.

Many people play FLH or whatever game has the most people (usually 1/2 FLH) when the BBJ gets high.

Octobersmile has definitely played on UB/AP for a longtime. He has played over 70k hands according to ptr., for years, and has had shall we say below average results. I'm glad he won the bad beat jackpot and I hope he gets paid.

Whoever posted that theory is wrong.

Tilt are obviously not in as bad a condition as Cereus, but they don't segregate player funds. I've read that the following page gives different text if you view it from the US, but I haven't verified that.

lol at their new tournament scedule. They still use American time, but have reduced almost all the buy ins. So now I can play tons of 2$ tournaments, wow!... The only bigger buy-in tournaments start at 20h, which is nigh unplayable for Europeans.

And as usual, all this without any communication. I hope they survive long enough to get our money back, but they seem to only have rehired the incompetent people.

jesus less with the bbj conspiracies more with the facts about payouts
05-20-2011 , 11:55 AM
If they finally blocked us from playing yesteday(other countries can still play), isn't that a sign things are moving forward to eventually pay us? Just my optimistic opinion...
05-20-2011 , 12:19 PM
So have any US players played since yesterday through the buddy list glitch thing? I finally had buddies pop up last night and could view a few tables, the one game I could have joined was a 4 handed 5-10 game, and the bbj ended up hitting that table. Wonder what would have happened if an American was on that table when it hit

Right now there are 49 players on all SH NL tables. Calculated manualy.
My 2nd cashout was pending 3 weeks and was canceled and now I have only one cashout method available - by check, which take me 2-3 months at least to reach money
Obviously my optimism is much lower now about Cerues and I started to play BlackJack for big stakes...
05-20-2011 , 12:55 PM
This past Sunday, the 15th, I requested 2 $500 cashouts via Instadebit (one on my UB account, one on my AP account): I received my UB one on Wednesday, but still haven't received my AP one.
Just pointing this out because my previous cashouts from a week + after Black Friday took less than 24 hours on both skins.
