Funny how often I have this conversation with people. Total noobs are really surprised to learn that good poker players aren't mind readers, and soooo many amateurs and shitty live pros LOVE to act like they guess right so much more often than wrong. They usually proclaim this after the hand of course.

Pathetically on my end, there have actually been times when I didn't bluff when I should just because I cannot handle being called by some tool who will then tell me they had some sort of read and that's why they called.

I still don't understand how any rational, sane human being cannot see right through Charlie's schtick. He is a delusional street hustler trying to project good will as a hippie love and peace guy. It is painfully obvious he is not playing with a full deck either.

I also don't know why people still defend him and state things like he is not a great poker player but he is not a scammer. Really? He is falsely creating the illusion that he is a 'top tier pro' with a winning track record (a track record he is not willing to show you mind you) and stating he can teach you to be a winning player as well with the sole purpose of getting you to pay him a couple grand a month for coaching. Claiming something you are not and providing credentials that you don't have is scamming.

There is nothing good about this guy and he provides no value to the poker community. Quite the opposite. It is time everyone just ignores him, doesn't give him a platform or any additional exposure to amplify his message, and then let the market weed him out like every other poker shyster that has come and gone.

If Charlie didn't have the rep he has, wouldn't he be considered a top pro just based off his results? I'm confused. If we didn't know who he was and he created a course on Upswing or RIO and the site used his results everyone would think hes pretty elite. Which is how we judge pretty much every other coach that shows up on these training sites.

Basically the Strat in this spot is to call down every spot. Bluff every spot then delete the big hands where you get called. You can literally see in his graph where he deletes like 5-10 hands at a time. Notice he doesn’t show his ev. I put the ev in for you

Kakitee literally said on stream that if Carlie took the bet that he would jump in the pools to **** with him and/or tell others to do the same, this would change Charlie's EV in the pool and change what Charlie was betting on which was beating the "normal" 200 Rush pool for >= 5bb/100. People could also jump in the pool and punt off stacks to Charlie making it almost impossible for him to lose the bet.

It makes sense that he changed his mind because it's nearly impossible for him to get a "normal" 200 Rush pool if the bet were to go on.

I don't like Carrell but he has shown his GG poker stats from Gg website. You can't delete hands there. The GG graph doesn't include rake but it clearly showed his insane run so far.

Looks like Carrell is able to beat 200nl Zoom and is a pretty good player. I would love to see Helmuth trying this..

charlie has a pretty good mind for poker from what I’ve seen, even when he goes for outrageous explo stuff it’s usually pretty sound, as cringe as he may come across sometimes one cannot deny he is a good poker player

all of charlie's latest youtube shorts have been of him playing NL5k on stars ages ago. another way to get his potential customers thinking he's a top high stakes reg. pretty scummy.
