Excellent refutation of my post.
You clearly showed me how wrong I am.
If you disagree with my post that nothing is guaranteed in the markets to go up
Then you are a stone cold ignoramus
In fact history shows that when something is soaring upward
And every schmuck who is a newbie to trading says, "you need to buy this now, it's GUARANTEED to go up"
The top is in.
I sincerely hope you make a load of money off crypto,
I just also hope you're smart enough to take that money before it crashes
Because nothing is guaranteed in the markets
Didja know that TWTR is still 50% below it's IPO year high from about a decade ago?
It's never been higher than it was after its IPO surge when everyone thought they had to get into it
The market has literally tripled since then and TWTR . . . down 50%
"TWTR is gonna be the next FB!!!!!!! It's GUARANTEED to go up"
If you bought TWTR puts at every break of support you'd have made a load of cash
I've been doing that since 2014 and it's served me very well
Every few weeks or so some rumor of someone buying out TWTR would hit
The stock would shoot up like 15% in an hour and then . . . nope
How hard is it to realize that FB could make their own TWTR in a weekend if it wanted to for free?
But noooooo,, idiots telling me that FB is gonna pay $100 billion for a money losing company with flat user growth
What a deal!
So, I'd load up with some 2 month long puts and ride it back down
Rinse and repeat
The amount of crap I have taken on message boards for doing that from idiots who tell me
"You're gonna LOOSE money" (And they always misspell "lose") the past few years is comical
TWTR is a message board that struggles to make any money, so it's not worth a $40billion valuation much less a buyout at $100bil
It's an obvious trade the last 8 years and it's worked out extremely well for me
Yet, 95% of people keep telling me I'm an idiot for doing it since "TWTR is GUARANTEED to go up!!"
After the lockup ended TWTR collapsed like 20%, it was in May, forgot the year off the top of my head
The insiders themselves showed they didnt want to hold it long term,
They knew the website was a big deal, but making money off it was going to be brutally hard
So anyway, I'm just a guy who could talk circles around you about this stuff.
Nothing is guaranteed.
BTC millionaires, congrats! You crushed it, but for the love of all, take your profits, protect your profits, enjoy your spoils
