Your money, as well as everyone's money that deposited on FTP was STOLEN by FTP. That's where your money went. It bought houses, cars, boats, and who knows what else for the owners and board members of FTP.

*insert speculation as to how much of a delay the winter storm closings will cause the remission process here*

Sorry, just thought this thread needed more rampant speculation.

Most of the people in this thread are just here to bitch and complain. Getting them to even sign an online petition won't happen. Besides I think you need like 50k signatures. We probably don't have anywhere near that many us players owed money.

Kind of funny that they backpedaled from those slightly more hopeful phrases to "soon" in the past week.

Oh the slow turning wheels of the US DoJ.

Maybe you're just reaching to insult me because of something (I don't know what) I said in the past that ticked you off, most people here probably don't trust the government to be a "friend" when one is in need of a friend. I don't blame the gov't for Black Friday,

but is it really such a paranoid question to ask, that maybe the DOJ / other agencies involved in the remission process might view players differently and pay them out (or not pay them out) differently according to the amount of money in their account?

You're saying i'm paranoid so clearly you think this is not a possibility. By saying so, you are implying it is rational for one to assume that when / if we are paid everyone is going to be paid on equal footing ,

you're implying that the $100 balance owner gets paid, and the $100,000 balance owner gets paid just as easily and quickly and with no more red tape or requirements than the $100 balance owner...

I'd accept your proposal if you had provided some sort of proof, precedence, or could even give the guise of having experience in such matters in the past, or that maybe you work in a related field and have first hand knowledge of how such remissions processes are done, but you do none of that. Instead, you take a swipe at me for asking a question (albeit a pessimistic and scaaaaary question).

methinks you're just a sheep who is scared of the notion I brought up so you attack the messenger... although i'm less of a messenger and more of a questioner, I was only hoping that in asking the question , someone intelligent and informative could ease my concerns based on past experiences / knowledge of remission processes. You clearly are not that person in any way.

Thanks for the response though, i'll go don my tinfoil hat because I am according to you the most paranoid person in the world.
maybe you should read some of Ford's posts on this subject matter before you post some rambling incoherent bull****.

cheers

If you want to blame anyone, Blame George Bush, he is the one who signed into law at the 11th hour the "Unlawful Internet Gambling Bill" which essentially made poker in the USA illegal since you could no longer lawfully deposit funds into your online poker accounts. Without this law, dozens of online companies do not leave the USA, FTP and Stars don't resort to bank fraud to fund player accounts.... UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thank You Mr. Republican President who's party likes to say they want LESS GOVERNMENT. What a joke

Totally true, but so what? The Dems sure haven't done anything to fix it either! All politicians suck balls!
03-06-2013 , 05:33 PM
Most politicians (Obama and Bush included) don't give two ****s about online poker one way or another. If you're gonna blame someone, blame Bill Frist and the other small handful of anti-gambling zealots who managed to get the UIGEA attached to a bill that people actually cared about.
