When Boston played Stud, the games filled quickly, and he was a loser. Small limits and big limits alike.
Some big names he befriended paint a different picture for him, however, politics do not= truth. They even tried backing him in large Vegas-stud games
Some poker kudos are political. This is the nature of poker and life.

Example: Name players will tell you S. F. is a top player (or maybe just PLO!) even though he has lost millions and they jump out of bed to play with him.
