There is so little action so Tuck and Joey changed this into a cooking show.

Is joey even a respectable omaha player anymore? I know he's big in the content game but what about his skills nowadays?

What do some of you guys think about his thoughts on the game?

It feels to me as he's a little washed up, but I definitely don't know enough about Omaha to know if he's any good anymore.

Joey "I'll bet anything Jamie Gold wins"

Tuck "What odds do you want"

Joey "15-1"

Tuck "There's only 12 left and he's 3rd in chips!"

LOL

This PLO commentary is awful. I usually enjoy listening to Tuck but they aren't talking about the actual game most of the time.

Wow. They actually took a minute out from talking about their own lives to get back to the game for a hand. Bravo.

Earlier Chicago Joey basically said he didn't want to talk strat because he didn't want to give his opponents an edge. <roll eyes>

Needless to say his commentary sucks.

Yeah, that was the most poker commentary we've gotten out of him. Haha. Hopefully he has somewhere else to be (another party) soon.

^^^I feel as though Joey puts in tremendous effort to make it seem like he's still a relevant poker player but always has a convenient excuse as to why he hasn't played much. But he is always going to play high stakes in the future or he is going to play a big tournament coming up.

I'd respect him more if he would just say he's busto or doesn't want to play high stakes anymore and wants to move towards creating content. Instead he makes it seem like he's still a top player and he's clearly not even close.

He just seems unbearably fake in nearly all of his podcasts.

Men Nguyen, "The Master", is poised to win bracelet number 8 on event #61, this guy is so good and highly respected, considered to be the number 2 best poker player today, Number One of course is Phil Hellmuth.

Goooo Master!!!!!

I like Joey I think he is a really good guy but I kind of have to agree with you, like he says if you aren't playing on PokerStars then you don't matter. He never provides receipts about his game play but that could be for tax reasons/government reasons. Do I think he's completely busto no i really doubt it but he seems more interested in befriending and hanging out with the PLO end bosses more than anything, the least he could do is give out some basic PLO strategy to help funnel up some money to his high stakes friends. He also gets a lot of unwanted hate but that comes along with putting yourself out there which he understand but still Joey throw some people a bone once in awhile, the players higher up on the food chain benefit when the money moves up its just more money for the higher stakes guys to win.
