How can they be competent to investigate marked cards and cheating, when they are not able to report hand histories correctly? I mean, are they not reporting one card on purpose every hand they write down?

I would fold and hope for 2 cards. I wonder in a hypothetical situation if playing with one 8 is better than folding and playing with 2 cards only for 1000. Someone run the equities.

Negreanu just thinks he's bullet proof after getting 2nd in the 1 million dollar multi-table sit and go last year.

I really hope they put the $10K PLH FT on the live stream with hole cards instead of the $1.5K Shootout...

$10K PLH FT is..
Jason Koon 890,000
Paul Volpe 586,000
Dario Sammartino 521,000
Shaun Deeb 488,000
Sam Stein 299,000
Kristijonas Andrulis 288,000
Greg Merson 276,000
Jason Les 213,000
Tom Marchese 180,000
Ismael Bojang 80,000

Way more intriguing FT than the $1.5K Shootout IMO

Damn Paul Volpe is such a boss. Second in chips in FT of $10k PLH, finished second in $10K HU, 12th in $10 2-7 triple draw. Has he played in another events so far?

Confirmed for Live Stream as soon as they reach 9 players. Ismael Bojang has 3 big blinds when they return with blinds of 12k/24k. It may not take long.

Too many friends at this final table, will be great to see Sam, Tom, or Jason Less win - but I am firmly on team Deeb. Take it down Shaun!

Hopefully anyone wins it besides Shaun Deeb and Paul Volpe not a fan of either of them. I will root for Jason Koon he is a great player and isn't a douche.

Am I missing something? There's differing chip stacks at the FT of the $1.5k shootout ranging between 740-744k. 1k entrants (10 max), should all be 750k, no?

some tables started with less than 10 players hence the difference

EDIT: WSOP coverage cant be arsed to put the exact player count which is a bit below the exact 1000

Yeh well if it was exactly 1k then all of the 10 player tables should've been full. I assume starting stack was 7.5k then? If so, shouldn't all players have either 750k or 7.5k/15k/22.5k etc less?

Their "live" is like 30 minutes late though...

I don't know for sure in this tourney, but I think there are some shootout tournaments at the WSOP where they blind off the stacks of players who have registered but not come to the table yet. When that happens, they blind the stack into the well instead of putting those chips into play, so the total chips in play at that table decreases.

Are they gonna zoom in at all on this stream? Can barely see anything

edit: they finally zoomed in. Deeb has gotten big, still a beast tho. Hasting in booth is so tilting, I hate his voice.
