Hand #55
Thomas Cannuli opens the button to 450,000, and Max Steinberg defends his big blind. The flop is 4s3s3d. Steinberg checks, and Cannuli bets 450,000. Steinberg calls. The turn is the 2s and the river the Js, and they check it down. Steinberg shows 8c8h for eights up, and Cannuli tables JcTd, winning the pot with jacks up.
What do people think of this hand between Cannuli and Steinberg? They're both at almost 12 milsky (6 and 5 repectively), so they prolly don't wanna go crazy, but playing 88 like this vs an aggro BTN-open seems really weak. Any ideas why he played it like this?
