What do people think of this hand between Cannuli and Steinberg? They're both at almost 12 milsky (6 and 5 repectively), so they prolly don't wanna go crazy, but playing 88 like this vs an aggro BTN-open seems really weak. Any ideas why he played it like this?

He is far from out of it, but moving in the wrong direction. Needs to find a double and it won't be easy.

If he falls short, that 88/AA hand will really haunt him. Hindsight is 20/20 and I'm sure he had his reasons for playing it the way he did, but it just looks spewy and bad.
