2+2 ex-mod cornell fiji (Steven Ware) stole 30k from Admo part drei 2+2 ex-mod cornell fiji (Steven Ware) stole 30k from Admo part drei

So someone posts he thought this "joke of a thread" was deleted, the same person accidently replies to himself and says "So did I."

It's obviously Cornell and both posts are mysteriously deleted? What's up with that?

(Edit: I see you've addressed it above Microbob. Still odd that Corn replied to himself, dontcha think?)
08-27-2008 , 03:44 PM
It's obviously not Cornell, unless he's now posting on another continent.

Corn was trying to be funny with his "posts".
08-27-2008 , 03:56 PM
lady - It's not odd. He was just attempting to be funny. I've done that a couple times too except that I was way funnier with my timing.

Nobody really needs to make guesses about which gimmicks are or are not Cornell's. Unless he's doing some IP-masking stuff we mods can already tell anyway and don't need your help (and most posters are usually joking or are wrong anyway).

The best defense against libel is the truth...and I'm pretty sure Admo has that on his side...not sure what backwards jurisdiction you think Fiji would have a case in.

AJ and Camel - It seems like Steve is purposefully delaying payment to Adam as 'punishment' for making it all public or something like that. Steve now has a personal beef with Admo so he's choosing to pay first to the people who were nicer to him about the money that he stole.
That's my take anyway. Kind of hard to tell for sure. But he seems to be implying that he doesn't care about Admo at all when jposu claims that he said, "and that the reason he paid us back is b/c he actually cares about us."

Trying to get some form of revenge on the guy who you stole $30k from via putting him last on the payments list seems pretty low to me especially since admo's collection methods didn't strike me as THAT bad (he wasn't threatening to beat him up or anything and was, in fact, telling other people not to contact his family and stuff like that).

Again though, this is assuming my read of all this is correct and it may very well not be.
This is some real valuable and interesting speculation.

Thank God some mods not only regulate threads, but they interpose a running commentary with unsolicited analysis for those who just can't read very well.

I am particularly grateful that this analysis of the involved parties' motives did not include whether any of the actions were criminal ... I mean, that would be way out of line.

Not so fast. Knowing what you are talking about does not seem to matter much here.

QFveryspeculative MicroBob, unless you have any inside information on this matter.

from my knowledge the main reason cornell was redic angry at admo was calling the cops to his house at 2am saying he was a risk to himself. That forced his whole family to get invovled and the scumbag got offended. So props to admo you're still the best.

When **** hit the fan Admo was talking to CF and CF was speaking of suicide. Admo becomes legitimately concerned and has police check on CF. Cop tells Admo CF looked totally fine.

I am always angry at the people I steal $30,000 from
I am sure the villains that emptied Hoyt Corkin's house and garage are angry at Hoyt as well

WTF? I am giving an opinion which is what we are allowed to do on internet forums.
A different poster said that Steve paid him first because "he actually cared about them."
It's not exactly the hugest leap in logic to deduce that the reason Steve isn't paying back Admo first is because he cares about him less.
This is assuming that JPOSU's quote from Steve is accurate. I have no idea but also have no reason to believe he's lying.

If Steve wants to set the record straight then he is more than welcome to post in this thread. Or he can even PM a mod and have them post for him.
I have encouraged Steve to participate...and by that I mean that he should do so in a non-gimmick manner and without saying stuff like, "Microbob should be demodded for being a scumbag" or whatever it was he said before.

I continue to believe that he owes Admo, the others he stole from, and the 2+2 community in general a PUBLIC apology for his actions. And that is different from privately apologizing and having it be repeated on here.

"Ya know, Hurratio," Tripp drawls. "There's one thing I don't git about all this."
Cane turns to look over his shoulder at Tripp,
"What's that, Frank?" He asks, a wry smile on his face. "What is it about 'all this' that you don't 'get'?"
"Well, it's this. Wa the heck would a grown man loan $30,000 to someone he'd only met on tha innernet? It juss doesn't make any sense!"
Cane gives Tripp a tight smile and turns back to the window. He takes a pair of aviator style sunglasses out of the inside pocket of his dark suit.
"The reason it doesn't make any sense, Frank. Is that it wasn't a loan..."
Cane pauses to stare out at the far horizon with weary intensity, then slowly places the sunglasses on his face using both hands.
"It wasn't a loan, Frank. It was a straight. up. swap."

How do you figure? Slander? Truth is a defense. Violation of the fair debt collection practices act? Doesn't apply to the original debt holder. Exactly what legal line did he cross? Especially when it is not entirely clear that Admo isn't the victim of a crime?

Microbob, silly of me to derail by making comments on your comments. My bad imo.

WTF? Admo is wrong in trying to collect a debt that is owed to him? He didn't break any legs, or threaten bodily harm (I think), he just used his means to pressure CF into paying him back what he was owed.

I do believe CF will *eventually* pay off Admo back, but IMO, he's being a complete d-bag the way he was going about it, by threatening to take his time because Admo made this stuff public. I don't know why Admo isn't running the juice on CF, ala Gramma and Teddy KGB (or like any other loan). And yes, I know this was NOT a loan, but it's effectively turned into one when CF declined to pay Admo back.

Oh, and Johnny Hughes. I have no idea who you are, you seem like an old school poker player who has lots of insight into the old days and how gamblers act. But I don't go into NVG much, so I've only read 3 of your posts. All 3 were crap. Quit defending the scumbags.

MicroBob is certainly well within bounds to give his opinion.

Let's face it, say you borrow $30k to bet on Lakers game 1 from close friends, and $30k from 'lesser friends' on following game on Game 2, losing both.

Who are you paying back first? Or say you borrow from close friends on game 2 - 99% of people pay back friends first, unless they say not to.

Lt. Samual Grizzle, lead investigator for the Miami-Dade Money Laundering Investigations unit, stands at the window surveying an almost futuristic urban landscape shimmering beneath a cloudless sky.

Behind him, rookie Det. Jimmy Fricke, slumps in front of a computer screen, shaking his head, his obese features slack in a look of bovine puzzlement. "Ya know, Sam," Fricke chirps. "There's one thing I don't get about all this."

Grizzle turns to look over his shoulder at Fricke, "What's that, Jimmy?" He asks, a weary smile on his face. "What is it about 'all this' that you don't 'get'?"

"Well, it's this. Wa the heck would Admo, a grown man, loan $30,000 to someone he'd only met on tha intrawebs? It juss doesn't make any sense!"

Grizzle turns back to the window. He takes a pair of aviator style sunglasses out of the inside pocket of his dark suit. "The reason it doesn't make any sense, Jimmy. Is that it wasn't a loan... just a couple of degens laundering offshore poker money... as if the law does not apply to poker players".

Grizzle pauses to stare out at the far horizon in animated disgust, then slowly places the sunglasses on his face using both hands. "We got Admo by the nuts... and he's been singing like a canary to the guys from Treasury. We're gonna take our time and bring down some Big Players."

"As for Fiji... Admo's got nothing but a civil beef. But we got lucky. That Fiji creep is Sklansky's type... and we got him collecting more evidence on 2+2 deviant sex rings. The boys in Henderson will know what to do with that."

"It wasn't a loan, Jimmy. It's just the tip of the 2+2 iceberg."

Stick to telling old stories b/c other than that your posts suck.
