No Pierre did retract the word Wacko and replaced it with an acceptable one and the speaker should have moved on. Instead he showed his clear bias to protect Justin

Lets be clear Pierres questions about the BC Drug legalization and them asking the federal government were fair but all Justin can do is throw white Supremacist and Alex Jones comments as his budget was a big flop

Even Mulcair agrees the speaker should resign

He was asked four times to simply withdraw the comment. Each time he used that time (which is over but for the chance to withdraw) to throw in one more barb. That is clear defiance of the speakers authority. One can debate the wisdom of the speaker if you wish for drawing this line in the sand, but poilievre is clearly in the wrong here. It might seem strange on forums where throwing barbs happens in most posts, but there are standards of parliamentary discourse.

His rhetoric (barely “questions”) around allowing a decriminalizing pilot to study the effects are also very sad. I’m somewhat agnostic on the underlying issue, but it’s sad how divisive poilievre is once again trying to be here. Just a shitty person all round

Hey I clearly said that there are rules in parliament and you cant call someone a name as harmless as it may be. Yet he allowed Trudeau to call Pierre Spineless and did not ask him to tretract him which clearly shows his bias .

AS for the pilot project even the Premier of BC has admitted its not working .

“Retract” isn’t the right word, but yes he did interject when Trudeau said spineless and Trudeau followed precisely his instructions. The only person who did not follow instructions is Poilievre. And the guy is a lifetime parliamentarian, he obviously knows what he is doing precisely so it leads to something like this and gets more media attention on his relentless attacks.

Eby asked for a partial change to temporary waiver. Much of it is still in place. He succumbed to clear public pressure, but that isn’t the same thing as it not working. As I say, I’m somewhat agnostic on this issue, but I hate hate hate the way poilievre makes it hyper partisan in a way that obscures what kind of partial decriminalizing may or may not be best

Remember when many times trump got ask to return classified document and didn’t comply and eventually got charge while Biden only got asked once and comply and no charges been executed against him ?

For lozen Biden got a pass like Justin got a pass .
Lozen is unable to make that kind of distinction you speak…..

Biden did get a pass as he did it willfully but that is for the USA thread I also think Trump is guilty of that one

I think you and Uke are unable to make the distinction . Let me explain it to you

Uke calls me out as spineless in a thread. Rocco replies Uke you shouldn't do that than I later call Uke Wacko and Rocco says you need to retract that you cant use wacko. So I say Uke is utterly wrong and than Rocco says you need to retract the whole sentence and I change the word again and than he suspends me for 5 days that would show a clear bias by Rocco

Ill be patient Trudeau is leaving it may take 15 months it happen sooner. He can spin conservatives as white supremacists and nazis and racists to deflect from his failures . The reality is Uke knows his hero is on borrowed time

lol at the faux-outrage. “Inclusive” is this word that makes conservatives frothing mad at some woke liberalism run amok. If you click through to the original, a much better article, you see that it has since been changed, but the “inclusive” was just that it’s a pain to change every bus in the depot which needs to be done manually and so has a cost to it in manpower, so instead they stopped doing the custom messages they used to do a decade ago for one generic message that can be used repeatedly. One can be mad at Translink penny pinching, but no the anti-woke crowd on Twitter can calm the **** down.

As usual.

Also go canucks go, hope they wipe the floor with the oilers.

Are there any casinos in Canada which consistently run 2/5 and 5/10games for NLH. I am thinking to move to canada for the 5/10 games for aboput 3-4months for a long grind as the visit visa would be easy to get for CANADA than USA. Please help.

BC? No, not unless something big changes IMO. United and Conservatives splitting the anti-NDP vote.

This actually might change though. There is a bit of rumblings about a merger. I'm still guessing no, but it is not 0% chance anymore. ALso the NDP used to be WAY ahead. But some narrowing recently for sure. THe anti-incumbent sentiment in Canada is super strong right now (Ontario hates Ford AND Trudeau for instance). So it is possible. But still the betting favourite is the NDP.

Rustad quashed the merger talk pretty quickly. And it seems extremely unworkable at this point, given that you'd have to tell a whole lot of people, sorry, but you can't run for us anymore, this person from the other party is now our candidate. Aside from how problematic that is on a personal level, I think you'd have some decently popular independent candidates, and maybe even another splinter party. Given that the election is 5 months from today, I'd say the chances of a merger are still pretty close to 0%.

Was just reading the most recent polling, and the chances of defeat could be a bit higher than I thought. The NDP are still a considerable favourite, and the other parties need to make up a fair bit more ground. Some kind of cooperation would help them, even if it was something as simple as agreeing to put more resources into different ridings than one another.

Lets be honest nothing Justin Trudeau is doing including the carbon tax will reduce forest fires

I was surprised moving into the Kootenays how redneck it is. I see more Fuxk Justin Trudeau stickers on vehicles than I did in Alberta and they despise the NDP's. Now that is not everyone but I was surprised

42000 is totally number of drug deaths, it’s ludicrous to blame all of those on Trudeau.

Will you call out poilievres “lie”?

Yeah, the modern urban-left/rural-right divide is very much a thing in BC.

No its a lie. Will Justin Trudeau's climate policies lead to a reduction in the effects of global warming which he says is the cause of forests burning . The answer is clearly no. Pierre's climate policy is to export more natural gas to countries that use coal which will have an effect as well but not enough to reduce forests burning

The reality is a large % of fires are started by man/ women/other You would be better addressing that issue as well

And yes it would be ridiculous to blame all 42,00 drug deaths solely on Justin Trudeau and his policies so that in fact would be a false statement or a lie .

The difference here is I will admit when Pierre is lying while you deflect Justin's lies

Ok…..
Let’s look at it differently .
Tell me one policy polievre wish to implemented that will resolve or diminish climate change by itself ?
