Did you read your post? You are just as bad as Mayer. From sentence to sentence you jump between this extremely isolated fringe case of a random person being "bad" in your eyes, to uh, macroeconomic indicators like the unemployment. Do you not get whiplash from that juxtaposition? People used to at least try to have a narrative flow and connective tissue in their arguments. Now it is just throwing darts at anything/everything/whatever bad people can come up with - Justin Trudeau being supposedly bad in every and any context is the "coherence".

And just lol at the fragile ego of cis men unable to process that some trans men menstruate and having access to tampons is a reasonable thing is hilarious.

female who think they are men can menstruate, unclear why we should provide them tampons in bathrooms anyway, can't they just ****ing buy them?

would you provide barber tools in female (or male???) bathrooms?

i am a normal man and I don't want you to provide me with tools to shave in a public bathroom

Nope this man isnt fragile he just realizes the science that men do not menstrate or can get pregnant . I just call out idiotic things Justin does just as i Call out his lie that 8 out of 10 CDN"s get more back in rebates than they pay in carbon tax

I don't get why people try and play the fool about this. You're not that much of an idiot. You can figure out that the point is trans men who can have vaginas and can menstrate and thus use tampons etc. You can be all hoping mad at the idea that a trans man might share a bathroom with you - if you must - but quite this stupid game where you pretend to not understand.

You can figure out that point is there are people who disagree with the whole radical leftist construct of using the word "man" to address an individual who can menstruate.

There are people who don't buy gender theory semantics, and it's proper to say that in all occasions, denying what radical marxists decided words should mean.

I personally do not care if a trans man share a washroom we all know he isn't using a urinal and I couldn't care less if they are in the cubicle beside me .

I do concur there may be the odd trans individual out there but no where at the rate now kids do it for attention . Ill treat any trans individual like I treat a religious person. They both believe in a ideology that science can not prove exists . Ill use he or she pronouns but sorry I will not used the other 60 as they are total BS

I'm so proud of you. But then why did you pretend like you didn't understand the concept that a trans man might be menstruating when using the cubicle beside you?

It's kind of funny that this lives rent free in the minds of...........people like you. I collect name/pronoun surveys for thousands of students. Beyond he/she/they I don't think I've a single time been asked by a student to use another pronoun, let alone 60 other pronouns. I suspect most of the people getting all high and mighty that they will refuse to address someone the way that person asks to be addressed also haven't experienced it.

Smart move by Trudeau. Speculation was high this week that some form of increased taxes on the rich would happen. Now we have the answer, affecting only the top 0.13% of people, capital gains will rise from 50% inclusion to 66% inclusion on amounts over a quarter million, raising 19 billion dollars over the next 5 years. Smart.

I doubt that. I've regularly seen anti-trans people on the internet makes haha jokes about using a pronoun more commonly used to describes objects than people, but not among non-binary people themselves.

I guess there is a distinction between trans people and non gender people ?
I have trouble seeing the connection .

the common term is “non-binary” and someone who feels they don’t neatly fit into traditional male or female gender roles may refer to themselves this way.

He is fulfilling yet another promise. Guy been on a role knocking them off one after another, great to see.

But it’s all manufactured? Remember how you came here complaining about this two weeks ago? It’s because the conservatives knew this was coming and were trying to get their pound of flesh in before he fulfilled the promise. And like a good boy you repeated the talking points here.

I’ll believe it when the checks are sent out . So no plans ever for a balanced budget just capping how big deficits will be . I thought budgets would balance themselves

Absolutely, I'll check back July 1st I think it is when checks go out to see if you are giving Trudeau credit for YET ANOTHER PROMISE FULLFILLED.

The liberals have, correctly, been fairly clear not about "balanced budgets", but about keeping deficits within a specified window in relation to the size of the economy. Unlike say an individual household, running a deficit at the macroeconomic scale isn't necessarily a problem in and of itself, and most advanced economies have debt. It needs guardrails, of course, as the liberals have repeatedly established in their framework and one of the reasons for the EXCELLENT choice of taxing the wealth more via capital gains was because without that the liberals would have run up against the guardrails they set for themselves. All in all, a pretty decent budget.

It is when inflation is over target, as deficits are inflationary.

And increasing government consumption by taxing wealth is inflationary as well: you take money which wasn't spent on goods and services by their previous owners, to spend on goods and services.

While it is true that in the past people were unnecessarily scared of deficits, they are correct to be when inflation is over target.

Why not he is making a valid point and lets be clear Mrs Freeland refused to answer Vassy Kapelos if this means taxing grandmas cottage when she sells

As well the Bank of Canada has warned that Canada's triple AAA credit rating is in jeopardy with its debt

Correct me if I am wrong did not Justin promise a balanced budget?

The point i made about the deficit is true regardless of the country which is why i can make that point even if i don't live in canada nor i know canada particularly well.

Unclear why uke wanted me not to answer about factual macroeconomical claims ITT just because i don't live in Canada.

Indeed he did, back in 2015. Before the pandemic. This situation basically played itself twice. Harper also promised balanced budgets repeatedly and failed to deliver. Harper also had a big crisis (did you know he had a 55 billion dollar deficit in 2009 post recession, much bigger than today's deficit and that was in 2009 dollars?). And guess what, it is highly unlikely that Poilievre will balance the budget despite promises to do so. Just like Ford. Let's call it an across the spectrum problem.

That said, the Liberals take a different tone. They have been clear for many years now that the primary metric they are using is NOT deficit vs no deficit. It is about debt as a percentage of the gdp, and keeping our numbers nice and healthy among peer countries, which they have done despite the pandemic. This is correct.

Meh , making big deficit while the economy is strong is a very dangerous thing to do .
You shouldn’t have too and it totally destroy your ability to intervene to another big crisis.
Japan is not an envious model to follow .

And it even goes against Keynesian economic .
JT isnt 100% right on economic .

Why shouldn't grandma's cottage be taxed? Capital gains having a different tax rate is dumb altogether. Should be taxed at the same rate as any other income.
