Nutella, what do you do such that you are doing these kinds of polling?

This isn't particularly hard, is it? Every tesla owner I know calls the electrician in and they install it for a grand or whatever it costs. It's just a part of the purchase price of the car effectively, and undoubtably far offset by the price of gas.

Regardless, the key observation here is precisely what I said already: as the price of gas goes up, more people are going to change their behaviours including things like buying EVs. This is just one more data point in support of that. It is thus essential that we use tools like a carbon tax to keep the price of gas high.

Consumer analyst

If you guys have any questions you're interested in then you ost them here and I could add then to future polling. Lozen brought up an interesting one.

Upcoming polls include gas prices/behaviors, real state prices/behaviors, covid policy easing/behaviour

Cool. I've been fascinated by the Graves poll showing how unvaccinated people are massively distrustful of the "mainstream" narrative about Ukraine, with only a third believing Russia has committed war crimes compared to 90% for vaccinated. Absolutely nuts how far disconnected from reality these people are.

Yeah some of the things folks will not believe surprises me but than there are many reasons not to trust the mainstream media. Recently the Hunter Biden laptop . The left and the Whitehouse kept saying it was not true . Its Russian disinformation.

We have so many stories like that.

For the record I believe Vaccines work and Russia has invaded the Ukraine .

As for Polls I often wonder who answers these Polls ? Call display and most folks tell them to F off

All Greater Toronto Area respondents total 250 in retail sample setting. This will be public in May and larger groups are to follow
Gas price changes always have a reactionary, reflexive recoil that then fades into the background as the new normal is established. I don't think that is much different today then when I recall my parents cursing about gas prices in the 1970's and that can certainly drive behavior. The North American Econo Car movement was born of escalating gas prices.

But that said, regardless of gas prices the true driver of people to EV's will be the mass production, and thus price drop, and thus infrastructure build out of EV's by almost every big main stream manufacturer.

Every Automaker’s EV Plans Through 2035 And Beyond

Most main stream manufacturers could no longer make money on ICE sedans and were planning to phase them out. Those same manufacturers now plan to flood the zone with EV's.

With that you will see builders like lozen (as he says) adding in 240 volt plug in the garage. In higher end homes you may see the Power Wall soon as a default. These are all good moves for the environment long term.

I am not sure why I would be furious. From Justin's point of view he knows he can not win a majority if he calls another election. From the NDP point of view he gets some of his policies implemented or at least he thinks he will. For CDN's its stability till the next election

The bad part is that means 3 more huge deficits to come. Something Canada may not be able to recover from. Ill be shocked if anything is actually implemented . Jagmit fails to realize Justin promises many things but delivers on few

Wow is right.

Excellent idea...

All I can think of is where is the money coming from?

Are the CDN tax dodgers and evaders stepping up?

Nice to know you will be happy if he continues to win minority victories for 10-20 years. Hey, it will give you a topic you love to post on. Whatabout that!

Good opinion piece on this merger. Basically says Trudeau won and Jagmit lost. I thought originally this was a coalition but it is just a merger.

Though like I said at least we do not have to go to the polls for three years and my prediction is the Liberal Party will remove Justin themselves by than .

This is just two sides of the same coin. If gas prices are low and ev prices remain the same ppl won't care to switch. If gas prices are super high with ev prices the same, ppl will make the change. Likewise if ev prices drop significantly ppl will likely make the change even with lower gas prices. Conversely if gas prices skyrocket and ev prices drop a lot then you know what happen next.

I sense you may not like Trudeau. In the end you predict he will be removed by his own party in a few years, so that means he will most certainly not be removed. You should be happy as hating him seems to be what keeps you motivated these days, though your attempt to create clever negative slogans about him is pretty weak. Fortunately you will have years to work on that, so if you think of one that is accidentally clever then I will definitely be the first one to tell you that. Just keep trying. Unrelated, does anyone remember those truckers that we were talking about a while ago?

If they read these forums they would see that some of us said that is exactly their fate, along with being basically forgotten aside from articles about how they regret losing all their money for the grift of others who exploited them then moved on. Hey, at least many of the things they fought for happened that were going to happen anyways, so they have that.

In "Pierre Poilievre is a slimy liar part n+1" we have today's tweet: https://twitter.com/PierrePoilievre/...NTOhZfTid97r3Q

Trudeau must be horrible! He is banning potatoes from PEI being exported?! That socialist!

Note carefully the tweet provides no context as to why this might occur. Well, turns out that a potatoe wart of all things was discovered. As USDA would have otherwise officially banned them, a cumbersome process to unwind, Trudeau correctly suspended the exports to prevent this. The Liberals have now reached an agreement with the USDA to be able to shortly resume exports now that tests are coming back negative. None of this context is provided.

This situation sucked. It isn't remotely clear the Liberals did anything wrong at all as neither the wart nor the USDA wanting to ban it because of the wart was their fault, and it looks like they took all the appropriate steps. Perhaps one could levy some procedural criticisms, but no Pierre just wants to get those hard hitting talking points in.

Look, this specific issue doesn't really matter in the big picture. But this style of lying from Pierre is rampant in every ****ing thing this guys says. It is utterly disgusting.

Lozen, please don't respond with a WHATABOUTISM.
