If the story is that simple, they should have been arrested.
If the story is true? That's a big if.

The CNN crew was broadcasting from the middle of a street in front of the troopers who were stationary as filming was going on. Then suddenly the troopers spotted a protester behind the CNN crew and rushed to apprehend the protester. As this was transpiring, other troopers grabbed hold of the CNN broadcaster. As he asked the troopers, in front of camera, where would you like us to move, they proceeded to handcuff him.

I guess it's wasn't the brightest idea to set up camera right in the middle of the street, but nevertheless, he wasn't even given a chance to move. The CNN guy is a black Latino by the way.

So maybe next time before you make such a stupid statement you should get your lazy blank to do some fact checking.

Give me a minute. I'll go check DailyMail and see what actually happened. I am not even being sarcastic.

The video is extremely graphic but there is no doubt in my mind Chauvin killed Floyd and the other officers just ****ed up not getting Chauvin off Floyd.

Chauvin at minimum needs to be charged and convicted of murder.

Ok. So it looks like 3 CNN people were arrested, but I am guessing we are only focusing on the one guy because it fits a certain narrative better.

Also, supposedly it happened live on air (although I can't find the clip, I checked DailyMail and CNN front page but not on either) but I am guessing the clip is going to be edited such that we miss most of the action/dialogue preceding the arrest. But if anyone has the actual clip would love to see for myself. And who knows, maybe I am wrong.

Yup. Minnesota Governor just apologized to CNN.

They were in the right. They politely asked where they were supposed to go and not given the chance to move.

At best you get manslaughter.

I don't see what the rush to arrest is. These guys are going absolutely nowhere. The DOJ and FBI are involved.

Criminal charges will in all likelihood be filed against all involved here.

But, why not let them get it right the first time? These police officers aren't slipping into Canada to avoid prosecution.

Did you see a clip of this (hopefully edited as little as possible?). Or are you just taking it for granted the information you are getting is accurate?

Incredible that I have to post this..

https://edition.cnn.com/videos/us/20...newday-vpx.cnn

Interesting to see how a groups of people chose to answer to this without seeing the video (kelhus and smudger), instantly emitting doubts and building a narrative.
Applause to kelhus who either is straight up lying or is blind when saying he checked for the video (on CNN front page nonetheless).

Anyway as I posted before, it doesn't seem that much of a big deal for people here.

Ok. I found a clip that is edited so we only see it when the officers start putting on the handcuffs. But presumably the entire lead up to the arrest was also filmed. So why the editing?

Based on the peripherals it is very unlikely we are being given a very accurate accounting of what happened. And the Gov of Minn. apologizing doesn't make it any more likely.

Kel, it's on YouTube.
Like they say about the stock market, diversify your sources dude.
Even I follow Fox News and read the National Review sometimes.

You don't mean to tell me the daily mail is your soul source of the thousands of arguments you've posted here ?
Wtf

Ok. Fair is fair. I haven't checked the clip yet but I see it is 6 minutes long, so apparently I am wrong (I will of course check in a couple minutes). It has been a short enough time period I could actually edit/delete my previous posts to cover my likely mis-prognosis, but I won't.

I saw him being held by the arm while showing the arresting officers his press pass and asking where they wanted him to move to.

He seemed surprised when they told him he was under arrest so I'm thinking they weren't very clear giving commands and didn't honor his press credentials.

After all they'd let that block burn all night so ofc they were in a hurry to control it when they finally got there.

Morons.

Well, in fairness it probably is my soul source, but not my sole source most of the time.

If you can't, why do you expect this to be an exception.

It is interesting, because you guys are for the most part intelligent. But at the same time it is apparent you are so emotionally invested your high brain functions have been completely shut down and it is all just reptilian brain operating right now. (which I should note is exactly what the puppet masters expect)
No one is really all that surprised that the police officer is getting off for murder. But that shouldn't be the case, no. Thus, the riots.

the "rush" as you say, i would say its already extremely delayed, is to show at least a minimal level of accountability.

charges can be amended at pretty much any time up until the trial physically starts which wont likely be for months.

Our city's occupying force just FLEXXED so hard.

10 minutes ago 30+ police cruisers + special forces vehicles cruised down the street at 20mph with their sirens blasting. We gotta know our role I guess.
