caviezel became a right wing nut job that is basically the mypillowguy.. pretty sure he believes in the adrenochrome **** among other ridiculous conspiracies.. not much surprise a major studio didnt think he was marketable, plus shoehorning all the religious **** into the movie to try and make it an allegory for the Qanon pizza shop conspiracies..

Are you making some sort of epistemological point? By that standard, I guess that I don't know anything except for things that I personally observed or experienced.

Cavaziel has always been religious and conservative. That didn't stop him from landing the lead on a long-running and relatively popular TV show (which he was quite good in btw).

But yeah, I'm sure his more recent dalliances with Q stuff and his public musings about adrenochrome make him relatively radioactive for a big movie studio.

Exactly. That's why I asked whether Luckbox was making some sort of abstract epistemological point.

Well that's additional information that I was not aware of, having just learned about this story yesterday and doing no research into it.

I was talking about Person of Interest. It wasn't exceptional, but it was pretty good.

Well, you said that:

And that info was covered in the first three paragraphs. I also just learned about this story yesterday, although I guess I did one Google search to make sure the story had been covered in other places - and I didn't even make a claim like "Nobody here actually knows." Maybe you should do the same, or more, before making such claims?

No need.

No one here does actually know.

Let me put it like this:

I've never been to Paraguay but I'd bet my life vs $5 that it's a real country and I'm sure you would too.

But I would not bet my life vs $5 that this story is completely legit and I doubt you would either.

So do we now get to look forward to you replying to pretty much every story someone posts or point they make with "Nobody here actually knows."?

Not even I know that but no probably not although it's definitely not the first time that I've made such a claim here. It is however the first time that someone has reacted to it the way you have and I wonder why you're so invested in it (as KS suggests).

Is it because in your mind if the media reports on something then it must be based on true facts that cannot be questioned?

Would you bet your life vs $5 that the story is true as has been reported?

Would you bet your life vs $5 that Paraguay exists? (Assuming you have not been there).

If you wouldn't bet your life vs $5 that the story is true is it because you don't actually know?

Paraguay isn't real by my definition. It's just a concept in the minds of some people. If it doesn't exist in my mind then it isn't real to me.

I mean I don't actually know that Paraguay exists but the -ev part is travelling there for that passport stamp that proves it for only $5.

Whole discussion is avoided if Rococo hedged a bit and said something like "that's what's been reported", or "allegedly" or something of that nature.

The dude that believes in alternative realities due to misremembered movie lines and also Avril Lavigne doppelgangers is willing to wager his life to win 5 bucks that Paraguay is a real country. Math checks out.
