money used for buybacks goes into the hand of people selling the stock alright?
human beings. making their own decisions. they will allocate that money as they see fit.
the best and the brightest among us or they wouldnt have all that cash to begin with (a fool and his money are soon departed).
So you have more money in the pocket of the best people in society.
And as with everything else in society, they will in aggregate choose better than the state. some will consume, some will invest in this, some in that's and each and every one of those choices will affect the real economy.
if there are investments in real capital to make that yield an expected ROI high enough they will be made.
