Monty, being right or wrong is always a matter of perspective. From your perspective, are you above the law? I don't get it. I do not get why you have such a hard time with the terms 'consensual' and 'law' . Nobody of the affected parties complained, they remained friends even, so apparenty they are fine with everything, but you get to decide what's best for them.

There are some topics where it is not a matter of perspective. This is one of them. The whole let people live their life thing can be used to excuse anyone from anything. I will pass on that approach. Sometimes a situation really is simple with regard to right or wrong.



I can assure you that I am not trolling him by suggesting he stop spending so much time taking the side he is on this topic. It is genuine advice given to a person who constantly goes down weird rabbit holes and has really bad hot takes. How about this, what do you suggest he do with this topic? Should he keep posting as he has been? Yes or no? If your answer is no, is that you being a bully / troll?

Maybe worth bearing in mind that if they genuinelly wanted to discuss this stuff then there are threads in ATF or NVG or somewhere more appropriate. All you will get here is trolling and hate.

Chez likes to think of himself as the defender of the underdog, Richard Gere riding in in the limo at the end of Pretty Woman. The slight problem with that in real life on adversarial-ish forums is that the underdog is an underdog for a reason, and that reason is usually because he is ****ing wrong.
