GG network stole from me 9K (USD).

I was playing for about 1 and a half month mostly nl100 and nl200 and sometimes when there was not a lot tables nl50. My nick name is Creampie

I deposited 2.5k and in that playing period I win about 7k and decided to do my first withdraw. GGnetwork canceled my withdraw and suspended my account. I send them email asking for details why my withdraw is canceled and account suspended. I got answer from them:

I was waiting for the investigation results. After few days I got new email:

I was surprised that tell me that I was using a bot and they confiscate all my money. I was never using any bot and I think for decent grinders 10-12 reg tables is not that much. I said to them that I can play via skype with webcam, talk or do something what they want to show that I was playing fair. And If i will not prove that i was capable of playing like that than they can confiscate all money.

So after my email they responded with basically similar email as before. They didnt care at all what I was saying and just ignore the fact that I want to prove that im not doing anything bad.

After this reply from them I have found on 2+2 that there is also who is also in same situation like me. Link:

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...g-bot-1715156/

Allmost same situation like me stolen money by GG network without any evidence.

So I send email again to GG asking for evidence and clear proof that I was using a bot or any other assistance program.

Just now I receive the same sort of reply, no evidence for seizing my 9K.

It looks to me that they are now just seizing funds from winning regs. I can understand that they might not want winning regs on their network, and would get if they just banned me and cashed out. But it looks like they have some new person detecting bots that doesn’t have any clue.

Like with the person in the other thread, I’m in the same situation. I see another thread from last year about the guy who was banned and seized for apparently bum hunting. If they don’t want regs, then ban and cashout, tell them that if they come back then they will seize. But it’s ridiculous that they are doing it this way.

I've read enough horror stories about this network. Nobody should be playing there and certainly not depositing if they're not even returning deposits. Like you said if they don't want winning regs then cash them out and tell them not to come back. I've heard from enough people to believe this a shady network that is prone to stealing funds from winning regs. There should be a thread with a collection of all these GG network horror stories with the title GG Network: Do Not Play Here! It might just save a few people some money.

I understand GG not wanting to give out information to their players as it would be ideal for them to use that to bypass their security measures, however if what you say is true and you have never used software of such a nature then you are entitled to go to a regulatory body. It is then up to GG to provide sufficient evidence to them.

I would ask them for their regulator details, if they don't give them to you it goes to show they are not very trustworthy. You should be able to get in in the T&Cs i would've thought.

Good Luck

A friend of mine suggested the same thing, as GG confiscated 10k from me too (about 2 weeks ago). I will now contact those regulatory bodies, I suggest we present them with our cases (there's a third case, too) and ask them whether they're willing to take a closer look.

I will post every step along the way here:

Stay away from them. The owner is a known scammer.

One thing that is fishy about this is that in the emails the OP sends to GGnetwork, the OP seems to speak perfectly good English, but in the posts here on 2+2, OP seems to make a lot of grammatical and speaking errors. Back to the topic tho, playing 12 tables on pokerstars is easy to do, but it def raises the suspicion flags on smaller sites. Like why would this person want to play every table available (much like a bot would) when they have the option to play on other sites with better game selection and action. If the site says they have sufficient evidence to support their findings, I am more akin to believing them vs a random euro.

Yes that is certainly fishy, it's clearly outside the realm of possibility that OP got help/was a lot more careful in his official emails to the site which could be used as legal proof

If all stated above is true, I wonder where the 9k is going. I highly doubt its being reimbursed to the losing players of the 'bot'. The site collected their rake regardless if a bot was in play or not.. so who gets the 9k? Shady.

With that said, at the very least, you should get your deposit amount back and they can do what they want with you after that. They shouldn't have rights to withhold your 25 hundy

I was playing on other rooms also alot tables. Unibet I was also playing most of the time 10 tables nl100-nl200. I would play even more tables, but 10 tables is max there. I played 888 snap games(like zoom on stars) most of the time 6tables 3 tables nl200snap and 3 tables nl50 snap. So Its not hard to play 10-12 reg tables on GG. If their soft would have been really good not laggy probably I would be capable to play about 15-20 tables.

I send them emails and didint get anything. Just statement that im a bot and they take all the money from my account. I was saying that I can play on skype, webcam, teamviewer or whatever they want to prove that im not a bot and capable of playing alot tables and winning. I would even be able to speak with them and explain my strategy if they think that my plays are like bot. But yeah whatever I just made a terrible decision that thrusted once again these asian sites. That was my biggest mistake.

can confirm the site actually explains this to their affiliates / pros that they ban the winning regs from the site to keep the games alive / running.
A close friend of mine actually got banned from the network after winning close to 20k in the 1/2 2/4 PLO tables, simply sitting the players that are on the table 24/7.
He got banned for allegedly bumhunting / predatory behaviour for monetary benefit?
There's a fair number of winning regs that havent been allowed to play on the site anymore because of GG's policy towards winning players, shame to be called a poker network

Is there anyone asking sponsored pros (streamers and more well-known poker players) to come post in this thread and similar ones? Can't understand how people are advertising a network on their stream or twitter bio or whatever when this kind of stuff is going on. Is there a difference between skins or is the entire network a scam?

Are there sponsored pros on this network? And if there are, what would they be posting in this thread about? They wouldn't be allowed to come and pimp the network.

Buehlero (sponsored by GG since early 2018) posted in the quoted thread a few times. After offering to help the OP he came back 1 month later with this response:

"sorry guys, was playing some livepoker and then was sick and totally forgot about this thread.

So GGnetwork bans regulars that win too much money at mid to high stakes cash games. It's their approach to protecting fun players and keep the games soft. I don't personally agree with that approach, but they're in every right to ban anyone from their site, as long as they are able to withdraw their balances. I talked with Natural8 and they confirmed that that has been the case 100%, can't say anything about the other skins. Two friends of mine got banned as well after winning a bunch at cash games on N8 and they were able to withdraw their full bankroll (around 25k, it took 2 weeks).
I'm not in contact with any other skin nor have I influence on them, so I sadly can't really do much about your case.

If you are a regular, I wouldn't play mid/highstakes cash on the network, mtts should be fine.

If you had any issues on Natural8, feel free to hit me up on any social media, and I will look into it, since I'm not really active on 2+2."
