GGpoker are now licensed in both the UK and Ireland - I was shocked they got the licences after some of the reports.

http://uk.businessinsider.com/888-ca...mission-2017-8

UKGC has shown some teeth in the past I am not sure whether people who don't play from UK can take a claim to them.

How the **** they got a licence with those terms and conditions is anyone's guess. It must be an invalid agreement under UK regulations.

Proof of GGnetworks licence in UK and Ireland:

UK Courts would pretty much rule on the side of the costumer in these type of scenario's if the a gambling sute steals your funds. GGNetwork would probably settle before it went to court. I agree that the UK license does give it credibility.

To clarify, I did not get my money back, the 5k are still gone and "redistributed to the players I took advantage of". The difference to naggeri is that I was able to withdraw my remaining bankroll through my affiliate.
I would probably pay someone a bounty if they can ever find me talking very positively about this site Natural8. I've never had a very positive thought about anything to do with the site lol I certainly wouldn't ever advocate anyone play on the site over other sites.

I look at not getting my money back as someone took my ****ing money and I never got it back. Getting it back through an affiliate is a blessing on the ****ed up sites out there.

Now I'm really tempted to listen to all of your podcasts from about 1.5-2 years ago. I am still very, very certain it was you, for the chance it wasn't, I'm very sorry.
And again even if you did I don't blame you or anything.
Regarding my funds it seems like you misunderstood me.
GGNetwork locked my account and took ~5k out of it and did god knows what with it.
I wasn't able to log in anymore, but my affiliat was able to transfer the remaining funds to his account and cash it out for me.
I didn't get **** back, I just didn't get everything stolen.

If OP has played on the site from the UK he has the option of a third party arbitrator specifically setup under the licence - that is if the operator has not dealt with any of his complaints.

UKGC themselves only deal with prosecutions afaik

I agree with you re the courts - GGnetwork don't adequately define "predatory behaviour" in their contract.
Actually using the term "bumhunting" is pure amateur hour.

I did not, unfortunately
I am still trying to get in contact with them, maybe it will give GGnetwork trouble with their license, especially given that I'm not the only victim.
Also didn't they exclude a lot of if not all british players a few months ago? I remember some people complaining in the GGnetwork thread

Yes, i got banned and got this email:

But!
-never made anythings against the rules in GG
-played on another site (juice =/ AIA)
-i did now even win 2nd time, 18k was deposit basically.

Its like you win a Sunday Million,(without doing anything shady) and stars ask you to never play there (and any othe stars client) in the future.

So cliffs:

- you got banned the first time, were told never to return to the network (if you did and were found you would have your account closed & funds seized)
- you returned to the network and were found
- your account was closed & funds seized

GG network did nothing wrong in your case.

Any site can ban you for [generally] whatever reason they want, just so long as they return the funds. You were told to not return after being banned, but you did.

OP should still get his funds back here imo. But if he for some reason decides to return to GG network later on, then it will be GG to his account and funds if he is caught

If you were banned from Stars and told not to return (with the same conditions) and you did return, the same would happen.

Same as going to Rio in Las Vegas, getting 86d from there and the rest of Caesars properties, then complaining when you walk into Bally's a few months later and have the police called on you for trespassing

Hey guys,

I'm not really active on 2+2, but someone mentioned this thread in my stream today. I've been sponsored by Natural8 for several months now, and received almost only good feedback from my viewers. Two guys complained about the long process of verifying their account, but that's about it. I'm not really sure, if these things are mainly decided by the network or the skin, but if this happened to anyone on N8, please let me know, so I can have a look into it.

Thanks!

It was decided directly by the network, the skin had nothing to do with it and couldn't do anything, so it could probably happen to N8 players too (allthough I can't say it for certain).
If you have good contacts, would you be so kind and draw their attention to the thread?

Accidentally discovered this thread, I would like to jump in and share my experience with GG network.

Intro
I have played there about 4-5 months in 2017. Username: Paggrato. I think I briefly remember OP, but can't remember his behaviour at the tables.
Signed up through the affiliate. At that point skin (AIA) was promoted everywhere so I felt relatively secure.
Games looked good, rake was high so I decided to focus on 2/4 and 5/10 games. I honestly doubt that there is a merit playing lower stakes there with such a high rake.

My behaviour at the tables.
I have played midstakes on a number of networks/sites before and never been contacted or punished due to my behaviour at the tables. I have not used any forbidden software: no hud, scripts, etc. Never table camped (which btw is pretty stupid thing to do because software gives X amount of total sit-out time per table and once it stops running you lose your seat. So if you waste it and table starts you have no time for WC breaks).
I was usually open sitting and almost no one gave me action (which is natural with that high rake).
Occasions I LEFT the table were:
*If it was clear it is going to break and I had enough of full seated tables running (so not smart to distract myself playing 5 hands 3 handed/HU until everyone sit-outs anyway.
*I got seated at new table and I needed to leave one of the existing ones because number of tables I can handle is limited.
*End of the session.
*I was open seating and reg willing to battle joined but I had already enough tables running so I couldn't focus playing a number of 6max and HU table (almost never happens).

What happened
I have deposited there somewhere around May 2017. First two months I was constantly depositing because of the terrible run. Mostly against Yippeeki-yay who was in my eyes worst reg on the site but somehow always getting those pots lol. Hope you are banned too, mother******
After that I hit the upswing, during of period of like one month won everything back, made some on top (which result in winning a lot of money in very short period of time, because I was down a lot.)
My affiliate gets informed by AIA that GG Network is going to ban my account since GG sent out skins the list for players who are going to be banned. List contained "players bumhunting and those WHO are not good for the Networks ecology" as quoted from e-mail which was sent out to my affiliate. Since I was informed about upcoming ban I was able to move my funds from GG Poker to AIA wallet (they are separate cashiers, GG does not control AIA's wallet. So my funds were safe before they banned my account and I cashed out.
GG Network NEVER been contacted me directly regarding to my behaviour at the tables and I haven't been directly informed about upcoming ban. I have just been lucky that AIA has been informed and they contacted my affiliate so he could warn me as fast as possible. I am grateful AIA and my affiliate for doing that.

Cliffs
-deposited, been losing player for some months, no problem having me playing high volume on the site.
-months later won it all back, made profit on top, suddenly I am bad for the network, got added to list of players who are going to get banned.
-I received no any warnings or complaints from the network.
-Skin informs my affiliate that I am on the ban list, tells that I should move my funds from GG network wallet ASAP. Affiliate contacts me and redirects the message.
-I do as advised and later withdraw my funds from skin wallet.
-My account on GG Network gets banned.

sorry guys, was playing some livepoker and then was sick and totally forgot about this thread.

So GGnetwork bans regulars that win too much money at mid to high stakes cash games. It's their approach to protecting fun players and keep the games soft. I don't personally agree with that approach, but they're in every right to ban anyone from their site, as long as they are able to withdraw their balances. I talked with Natural8 and they confirmed that that has been the case 100%, can't say anything about the other skins. Two friends of mine got banned as well after winning a bunch at cash games on N8 and they were able to withdraw their full bankroll (around 25k, it took 2 weeks).
I'm not in contact with any other skin nor have I influence on them, so I sadly can't really do much about your case.

If you are a regular, I wouldn't play mid/highstakes cash on the network, mtts should be fine.

If you had any issues on Natural8, feel free to hit me up on any social media, and I will look into it, since I'm not really active on 2+2.

Buehlero, while I respect your attempt to help OP I just can not understand how can you promote the GG network knowing that it bans winning players? Some of them even were your friends.
You are supporting GG network behaviour and drive traffic to their network, giving them power to act like that.
Do you tell your twitch viewers that they are likely to get banned if they become winning players?

Regarding my case, it was clear that I was banned for winning since day 0, there is nothing to investigate. I just realized that I should have told more people about it so there would be less people like OP. I regret not doing it earlier.

Glad I am not crazy. It was aprox 2-3 years ago and I am confident he mentioned Natural8, not the GGnetwork. Obv it is not his fault in any way, I was just thinking that since he has a huge following and maybe got some people to play on the site maybe he could reach them to prevent more damage.

It's completely fine for a site to exclude certain players if they want to, I'm not moaning about that (even though I started tables like crazy, so I don't think it was a good decision for the site, but whatever)
What however is not fine is them straight up stealing a decent part of my bankroll. I am glad your friends where able to withdraw all their money, well, I wasn't as lucky.
You are not only promoting a network that is excluding winning players (which again, I disagree but is fine), you are promoting a network that is straight up stealing money, which I would have a problem with.

This, all day long.

Find out who they are regulated/licensed by (I believe they are licensed by the UK Gambling Comisisson, who would take this seriously). Write out a brief, bullet pointed email, and send to the gambling commission. I can help review it before you send it should you want.

Hopefully that should be enough to have GG to cash your funds out
