Anyone know when we will be able to take notes on the desktop client? It seems like it has been saying coming soon for a long time. To me that seems like a basic thing sine its already on the client but who knows.

Player notes have been "in the works" ever since the desktop client was released, so don't hold your breath. Supposedly a big update is also "in the works", believe it when you can download it is about all one can say for Seals software updates/improvements. At this point I'll be plenty satisfied if I could just remove the doomswitch currently plaguing my account, in the last two weeks I've had more time to play than I've had in the last year and of course run like poo the whole time.

It's almost like they play poker there.

Seals seems more difficult compared to other American sites, at least NLHE ring games. PLO probably not, but I suck at PLO.

I don't have a lot of online experience to draw from. But for me seals is definetly not as easy as others claim. Once you go past 4nl anyhows

I guess it depends, and it's relative.

It's definitely not as easy as it was a couple years ago, there are more actual poker players and less Bitcoiners just coming in to gamble.

Sometimes the games are full of the same solid regs playing at every table and the games aren't that great. That's the downside to playing on a smaller site, it only takes a handful of guys to make every table reg filled.

On the flip side though, if you're able to play when those guys are offline then the tables can be really good.

And there are still enough players that are big donators to make the games worth it. A large percentage of winnings come from those few players when you're lucky enough catch them.

I wonder if anyone can actually make a living off of this site.

The highest egularly running stake is ~50nl so I doubt it playing exclusively seals at least. Prolly some HU guys that could do it on seals alone.

You can routinely find 50nl tables with 3 players playing between 40 and 60 percent of hands IME

Well said. Agree 100% with this on NL ring games. Tournaments seem to have a higher casual player to reg ratio, especially on the weekends. I don't play in a ton of tournaments but that's been my experience.

The horrible players are easy to spot. Some of them have absolutely no idea what they are doing.

i'm new on the site and I must say I love it ;

paying reasonnable rake is sooo awesome esp for small stakes (and higher when they run) PLO games ; table starters RB at 50% is just a great idea....

soft could def see some improvement, esp if you multitable tho

PM me your SN that'll be 50 chips your way =)))

sperm is my swc id. For pot% betting use the custom bets tab in the hotkeys option.

To get the auto timebank to work you have to edit the layout under the site setup section.

Glad I could help! GL

I can't get over how sweet their rake is. at .25chip/.50chip heads up tables and higher, the rake is 1.3% and with enough volume you even get some of that back. Their .25/.50 is less than usd 50nl! As soon as i saw that I deposited and started battling better regs heads up. With such small rake and a bit of rakeback, playing better regs heads up is basically just a really cheap lesson to get better.

idk, a common complaint among players is rake. But wtf, there's a place we can 2.5% and lower!

To bad btc is down right now. More profitable playing for $ then buying btc.

Depends on your connection. At home I never disc unless its server problems. At work there are times where I get disc every other hand and it becomes unplayable.

Looking to get going on SWC. I have a few questions. I have a mac, is the app worth downloading or should I play in browser? Also are there any available huds (for a mac)?
