Thanks VPIP!

would it be possible for SWC to reach out with other btc poker sites and form a network? could improve the traffic.
12-02-2014 , 05:03 AM
To the mid-high stakes players on SWC I noticed __ACTl0NNN is his SN and he plays only HU and NEVER loses. His play is very strange, always seems to call down bluffs w no problem and when I have he snap folds. Has anyone thrown this guy any variance? I have yet to see him lose.

He plays well, and has a large bankroll. Watching him playing now with the equivalent of $22,000 on the table against a much shorter stack. Fearless. Some chat. Camped on 8 other tables including 6-max and 9-max.

So in your vernacular, to fold is not the same as to lose?

Perhaps he just outplayed the hell out of you.

I think you can set up any game you want, but it's definitely not typical for games to run that big
....

Edit: I think my app is broke, responding here to something about a25/50 btc game

Whoever it is took advantage of the 1.3% rake and is now sitting with 67,700 chips, which is about $25,700

Not saying this is a "cheater" etc., its likely they are a good player but in case it ever becomes an issue in the crypto network I do have a solution for this problem. It hasn't been an issue in the eyes of the general player so in the past we couldn't have much of a discussion about it.

As players migrate towards cyrpto sites solving these "security" problems becomes crucial and I've been sifting through a ton of related papers on the subject. I just don't want to sound like, and be treated like, I am talking about witchcraft

I watched him play for 100 hands, and there was no evidence of cheating. It was a protracted battle with a skilled opponent.

__ACTl0NNN had the big stack, and he induced his opponent to go all-in, and called with a trip 4's (holding 6h 4s, with a board of 2s 4c 9s 4d Jh).

I just downloaded the client and have an error message:

ha its pretty much my solution, bridge 2p2 with the sites, its a little more complex though, basically we create a universal poker coin on counterparty. not an alt coin with its own network/protocol but just an asset that works like bitcoin.

This network would create and instant web of trust that would be "valuable' depending on the size and integrity of it. Sites might appreciate and support these webs. Many anonymous algorithm's could be automatically implemented vs cheating, and players could still either opt in or opt out or have single or multiple accounts. But at least one part of the crypto sphere will have a stable web of trust for a foundation.

It can be your antivirus software. Try turn of your antivirus and see if you can connect.

And now there is another player playing HU with the equivalent of $20,000.00

With someone on the waiting list.

That is a good thing.
12-02-2014 , 09:47 PM
Just saw a 74,407 chip pot. That is $28,000.00

The rake was only 3 chips, which is $1.14

The player who lost with TT vs JJ has reloaded.

1$ rake on a 28k$ pot.

Just, **** wow. Stars takes 5$!

Can only imagine the pit that would be in my stomach if I lost 1% of that in a hand. I would be homicidal if that **** happened to me. Not just cuz the amount but because a full house over full house. I guess dude's prob not hurting by it though considering how much he sat with, hopefully it wasn't like his whole life savings or something.

And to top it off, the guy who won didn't stick around.

DiamondDiggi lost about another 40k (or 100,000 chips) to Luukkul1u last night. . . Ouch!

I haven't had the issue in a while but getting constant disconnections this morning. Going around or just me?
12-04-2014 , 06:56 PM
This is weird… Traffic has been amazingly low the last few days. Games are barely running.

I setup a MultiBit wallet about 6 months ago. I decided to try it for the first time to go between Coinbase and Seals. .1 btc loaded just fine. It took about an hour. Then I went to transfer to Seals. The software demanded my password. -Brain fart-

It appears I have lost .1 btc into limbo. Googling says the encryption is unbreakable except by trial and error guessing.

I wasted about 2 hours guessing, since I remember that I made the password really simple.

I have a notebook with over a hundred logins and passwords. I can't imagine why I failed to log the MultiBit password.

Is going through a wallet with Bitcoin considerred money laundering? hehe

Anybody having login issues?

I use the Electrum wallet which has a 12 word seed with which you can recreate your wallet if your computer falls in a vat of acid or if you lose your password but of course you need the seed. I haven't been following but Multibit was supposed to change to the same sort of system. I have no idea what version you have. Luckily you only have 0.1 btc stuck. I set up a second Electrum wallet and wrote done the wrong info. There is more than one way to be an idiot. Months later I did find the seed and recreated the wallet and selected a password. I was about to try hypnosis to recover the info as there were a few btc there. All my seeds and passwords for my wallets as well as but exchange and poker accounts are in 2 secure locations that 2 other people I trust also have access to should/when something happens to me. I know there are secure ways of storing passwords on a comp but I keep none of my passwords there, it might fall in a vat of acid

what if SWC and a BTC sports betting site work together and share their user base. pretty sure it would improve traffic and the whole SWC poker economy, and i don't mind making bets on sports from time to time. also pretty sure i am not alone on this.

i think it's a win - win.
