I don't think this kills of people making a profit as some dooms day sayers have been suggesting. it just slightly reduces peoples profit. I am always sceptical about hyper turbos though like weather anyone can really make profit on them. I suppose if you could break even after the rake you could probably make a living of vip reward program and even achieve the nova elite level, just not sure you can. Theres no huge edge and you need people to do stupid stuff to get an edge, people do stupid stuff because they are inpatient. patience wont really effect hyper turbos though.

Lets increase the rake and make the games slower. What a brilliant idea stars! I might move now, the live games are getting better all over the place. What players exactly where you listening to? Waterboat?

I gotta say I am disappointed and I am huge fan of stars in general.

Bad stuff:

- The rake especially at the micros has been increased not decreased in general. This is just out and out ludricous. A slap in the face to all of stars players and needs reviewing immediately.

- Allowing new 45/180's to be multi registered in the lobby. There is enough time between these going off for this to be completely unecessary and really do think this at times discourage the recreational players. Please go back to one at a time.

- Timing of this. Is approaching peak hours on Friday really an appropriate time for these changes. You have a number of people in the middle of their sessions already and all of sudden we have totally different buyins and structures. A server restart so everyone gets time to have a look at the changes before starting a session.

- The timebank increase especially in turbos. These are meant to be quick paced tournies, all that is going to happen is the slow regs are going to kill that.

Good Stuff

- I think the new structures are good for the turbos and allow a more gradual increase in blinds but still last about the same time.

- erm i am struggling!

Steve I know poker players have a tendancy to moan about anything, but these changes in general are terrible for the vast majority of your players. This is at a time when stars are facing are more competitive open market, do you really think making you player base angry is the way to go.

Hypers having 4.5% Rake is ridic too ... make it 2% FOR ALL LIMITS even for 1$ sngs.

easily the best thing you guys have done for HUSNG in a longgggg time, past 3-4 years problem. Great change, but please add Super Turbos up to $1ks (not just $5).

Do I have to play flops now?

From what I've seen so far in HUSNGs, please consider changing the following:

1.) People being allowed to register 20 times and be seen 20 times is just stupid and you know it. Either change it back to just one lobby - which would be super great - or copy full tilt once again in the fact that you can register 20 times but only be seen once until sat by someone, then next lobby of you appears.

2.) You screwed up big time with setting up the new games. Change time bank back to where it was and make the games start after 15 seconds instead of 1 minute again.
Here, for what it's worth, I really expect that to be done BEFORE published. I mean, you are a multi million company!

3.) Bold turbos or change it in some other fashion so you can differentiate it from the other forms!

4.) Get rid of no blind increase-HUs and/or ban these RATS who are now sitting on 20 lobbies, waiting for someone to misclick and then time him down for 12 hours. You probably made THEM feel like it's christmas - and they are the creepiest persons in the poker scene!

For the good things: Lowering rake is really good - but don't get me wrong: Also very necessary!
Structure is fine, although the difference between you and Full Tilt was kinda good in _your_ way, people liked yours better.

Multi-lobbies are a bad idea, not only for the players but for you aswell!

The micro stakes 45-man SnGs seem to have been identified as an easy target for increased rake, with an 80% increase in the rake on the smallest stake ones, and a 50% increase on the next one up. Am I right in thinking that the graphs posted by the pokerstars rep are deliberately misleading about this point? (or are they simply ignored for some reason I can't see?).

The lobby is going to be a bit ugly until the new client comes out next week. However, it's expected that the short-term pain will be worth the long-term gain.

There are a couple fewer options of these now, and it is understood that there is a problem when people unintentionally register for these tournaments. However, they are popular amongst many players who do intentionally play them.
