Pokerstars, how about making the all Pokerstars sites use the same player pool?
For tournaments this should be easy. Just charge 14.89 +1.11 for non regulated countries that you don't have to pay tax towards.
And for those countries that do need to pay tax you just make the lobby look a bit different and charge the extra rake. Like 14.89 +1.11 +0.5
or whatever the extra rake is...
Or just write 14.89 + 1.61.

This would increase the traffic in all games and making it more profitable to play at other times than prime time. It would make the players happy with games starting alot faster and it would make you happy raking the $$.

Not sure why you put law in quotes, but as with anything the law is different in different places. I don't want to speak about any specific country because I'll get it wrong, but some countries only allow their players to play with other people within the country. It's not like Pokerstars has any choice in the matter.

Correct Italians and French aren't allowed on PS.com. In Belgium player pools are not segregated.
PS had to agree with this to obtain a license

With my suggestion the french would still be playing on pokerstars.fr

I know Pokerstars will have paid lawyers hundreds of thousands for regulation and licenses but i still have never seen an answer to.... why isn't French and Italian license deals hugely against free EU trade laws?

still not decided on higher buyin hypers???? come on stars....I want to go for 2mill+ VPPs next year, i don't even have a chance of making elite without higher buyin hypers.

The fish love them, they are ridicously popular and there is high demand for a full offering.

you will make more money too....this is such an easy decision.

for the players moaning it will hurt other games....should we all still be playing 7 card stud now? Because we would if that train of thought was always applied.

+1, i sent stars email about hypers
but i doubt it will be read this year covered with pile of crap that cashgames players spam them. Maybe if they just see plenty of emails with "hyper" in topic, it will help

Hey guys,
I've tried to get up to speed on how sng's have changed on pokerstars, but there's just too much info.
So, here it is- I usually played 6 man $11 and $22 before BF.
How have these games changed?
I'm a U.S. player, but thinking of expatriating, and need a heads-up on the situation.
Thanks for any info,
Steve

Anyone else experiencing Deja vu atm?

May: Screw SNGs up completely, fix them but with higher rake
Dec: Screw cash game players, fix rake changes but still higher rake

Sng's dont have higher rake.

They are raked more evenly across the board. There will be people who got off worse. but personally it encouraged me to move up and play stakes that were previously higher raked than they are now
