Your argument is BS. Getting to the core of a good game is about making it a truly skillful game. Shortstacking is like making basketball goals 7 or 8 feet tall, or like lowering the net in tennis, like making pool tables smaller with bigger pockets etc, like creating a map in CounterStrike where the one shot, one kill sniper rifle is the only gun worth using. The deeper the stacks in Poker, the more skill comes in, the bigger mistakes a poor player can make, the more luck goes out the window and the truly good players rise to the top. The more you take away skill from the game, the more you bastardize that game and make it not "real". Maybe you should go buy the game of "Life" from toys r us and roll some dice, that's what shortstacking is like for poker.
Thanks Stars for making a move in the right direction, this should help to extend the life of online poker! Now we just need to get some US Legislation passed and we'll be sitting pretty. It would help if ALL poker players would unite to help make that happen!
