I was looking to do a Player to Player transfer. Can you transfer money to a player and then Have them pay you through PayPal.
How can I verify if a player has transfer funds to others in the past
If anyone has a safe way to do this and any info on how to do this safely it would be appreciated

Paypal is not allowed as transactions can be reversed for some time after transfer is made. Not allowed on 2p2. Take a look at first post(s) of the player transfer thread.

Paypal can be used to scam. No one transfers via Paypal - it's site to site or nothing.

No paypal, and you have to have enough posts to have PM's enabled (I think).

You can check their trading history by:

1. searching in the thread using the thread search feature at top and searching for their 2p2 and site SNs

2. for an overall search, you can search for their 2p2 SN using the main site search or google their SN or look on the stat. sites like opr and ss

3. Also, can click on their profile and search for their previous posts

4. Can PM a mod (Mike Haven or Rainbow Warrior) if you are not sure to see if they had noticed any suspicious behavior for that account and if they're around, they might do some searching for you.

5. Can post in the thread before trading that you are initiating a trade with someone and someone who is around that has had a weird experience with that user can alert you/mods

Paypal is not officially allowed using the trade thread and if you do trade paypal, you should probably do it privately and only wih traders you know well as paypal transactions can be reversed up to a certain # of days.

greendot trades are allowed and relatively safer. I've never had any probs. with greendot transactions and have traded probably $3k or so on greendot over a year.

Going rate depends on site, amount and other factors like availability, supply/demand, urgency etc but the vig. for merge funds is averaging for around 0.9 or so.

That is, for $100 on Merge, you should get around $90 bank xfer or gdmp.

You can search any posts by any member in the trading thread. You want to look for confirmation posts by the members and the other member they traded with. Both confirming a trade...

There is no "going rate" for trades really. You can ask whatever you want. Whether you actually get it or not is another story. Generally trades are around .80 on the dollar and up.

No paypal requests and/or trades. Read the first post of the p2p thread. I'm too lazy to link it for the reason why. Just don't ask for paypal trades. It's not allowed.

Paypal transactions can be reversed legitimately, for up to 45 days, if they can be proved to be gambling-related.

Although a scammer's Paypal account would probably be closed, he could possibly run up a lot of scams within 45 days before anyone realised what was happening.

I did some small trades for Cake early this year, one rate I paid was .80-ish, but that was before the Lock move/traffic increase.

Chase QP was not paid.

I sent him $285 lock (two times) for two $250 chase qp. It took 4 business days for chase to tell me the first $250 was returned unpaid. The 2nd $250 is on hold and most likely will be returned unpaid in two days.

I initially posted that I will wait until his chase qp clears before sending lock $ but after two days... he told me the money cleared his account. Even though my Chase show it as IN PROCESS. I figure a scammer will no go this far to scam so I agree to send it to him. And then he requested another $285 lock. Call me naive, I sent it. Now I am short $500 chase / $570 lock.

I see he posted yesterday trying to sell lock.

I contacted lock support. Hopefully they will freeze his account and return the money.

From what I've seen ITT Chase Quick Pay, can be canceled within 48 hours by the sender.

Pretty much anything can be reversed these days, hence why paypal is not allowed itt. Im surprised though considering Chase QP seems popular itt. Kind of makes me think twice about it now as I just opened one recently.

Payment was completed through chase quick pay. I emailed you proof of payment. If you have a problem, take it up with them. Go **** yourself. I am going to email chase QP and let them know that you are using their services for gambling transactions. How do you like them apples ****er.

Upon further review of my account, it looks like one of the Chase QP was "cancelled" and the other Chase QP was paid.

I take full responsibility for mis-reading the Chase online statement.

Doesn't negate the issue that your 2nd Chase QP was cancelled.

Please correct the problem and sent me back $285 lock and I will advise Lock Security of the correct amount.

I have been in contact with andythewxman via email and he assure me it was an honest mistake and he will correct this matter asap.

I apologize for mistakenly stated the wrong facts. Indeed it looks like only the 2nd chase qp was unpaid. I have been scammed twice already and my initial reaction was prejudice by my past experience. For that I am sorry. I have reached out to lock security and advised them of such.

Just received another $250 chase qp from andythewxman. Given that the 1st one did go thru, I accepted this payment. I hope this will resolve our problem once and for all. Will provide final update when this payment clears.

i have carbon but its restricted for trade.......i have to play through x amount of rake other than sunday donkaments i just no longer play on carbon

I was under impression that Merge had time-restrictions not necessarily a play-through. I think it is 72 hours before you can transfer it. Could be wrong tho.
