I think he is new, isn't he? I have the same impression as you and the same observation about money. Still don't have many stats about him. What i know is that the last three sections I played around five hours, there was this guy playing before I took my seat and after I left the tables...

I saw the biggest stack ever at 100NL of $1450.00 today.

Not sure but seems like alot of newbies with the promo

Had my run it twice on for a month now and no takers

There are many newbies due to the promotion, that's true. The number of players at NL200 yestarday was around 40% bigger than normal - and it kept like that even very late at night (almost morning, actualy). There is more money around, but the game dinamics changes a lot.

many more newbies today for the promo, but the % to the flop is no higher

No higher? hum... What I noticed in the first hours of the promo was an increasing number of multiway pots. But this could be totaly subjective.

Opposite for me guys going all in with Jacks and 8's Play as been horrible too.

Yeah! That's what I'm waiting for: guys going all in with cards that could (sometimes) make any sense at a regular 6 max game, but not for sure at FR rush tables... Can't wait untill get home to play some poker!!

anyone having connection issues today?

Ive lost my connection / timed out several times. Usually very stable connection. Opened a table on another site and was connected while FT was non responsive.

I don't use PT3 (I use HEM) but I assume it is the All-in EV. Basically it is an indication of how much you would have won or lost in all-in situations had the probabilities worked out perfectly (which of course they don't over a less than infinite sample size). It's just how much you would have won or lost had luck not been a factor.

Example (I think) -You are playing 100NL and you and your opponent each have full stacks of $100. If you get all in versus an opponent and are a 75% favorite your expected value is $50 = (0.75x100)-(0.25x100). The yellow line goes up by $50.

There is debate as to the importance of this line. If people are lossing and they are running below All-In EV (below the yellow line) they just say they are running bad and full tilt sucks...or whatever site they play. There is also not much known about how PT or HEM EXACTLY figure this number. To me it's just interesting to look at and not much more than that.

Your green line, the line indicating how much you ACTUALLY won, is running higher than the yellow line, the amount you can EXPECT to win, so you my friend are running good. Again, take the line with a grain of salt imo.

The tables are at least twice as busy as usual. But I've learnt one thing tonight - they always have the hand they are representing. Every $%(&-ing time.

I've been helping them out though, but completely levelling myself and stacking off with all kinds of rubbish (pocket sevens being a personal favourite, button V SB). Hopefully my donations will encourage some of them to stay around.

I think it is fine. If anyone argues that continuing with the hand is +EV, it isn't by much and it could easily be argued that it isn't +EV to continue in any fashion whatsoever.

This.

There is no way anyone can really be able to say how to play this without having a read. This may be an instance where you have no read at all but you should state that when you post the hand. Otherwise it seems like you are asking, "In general how do I play this" but there is no way of answering that.
