I did find out from the netspend operator you can buy a $500 reload card (which is temporary, you permanent card is mailed in 7-10 days). After waiting 24 hours after activation, you can then add more funds to it. Apparently, the $500 limit is placed by the merchant selling the card. I'll update tomorrow if I was able to add more funds.
I just made the mistake of buying one of these reloadable cards, don't do it if you want to deposit for this bonus. You don't actually get a usable credit card in the package, you have to wait 7-10 business days to get the card with an actual 16 digit number on it. The card you do get is only usable at an ATM if you want to get your money back in cash before you get the real credit card.

this must be because you got it online?

Yea, mine has 16 digits and looks just like a credit card, but has "Valued Customer" where the card holder's name goes. I think you bought a debit card/atm card vs. a prepaid card? I'd advise quickly going to the ATM, withdraw all your money in cash, and buy the proper one, so you can get the bonus by midnight tomorrow.....

Good Luck.

Yeah, the card in the package is an ATM card, it's described as such on the paperwork once you open it up. On the outside of the package there is a picture of a Visa card and the title "The All-Access Visa Prepaid Card" as well as a logo saying "Use it Today." All of this lead me to believe there would be a Visa card inside.

I did purchase this card at a store, not online. Are you guys saying All-Access sells reloadable cards that don't work this way and have an actual Visa card included? Previously I've used the non-reloadable cards you buy in preset denominations which I can no longer find. By the looks of it this is actually more like a secured credit card because they want my SSN and info to send the Visa card.

I can go to the ATM and get my money back out, at least most of it after the ATM fees and crap, then try to find an actual card I can use. As a side note the netspend site lists a bunch of places to purchase them at that no longer sell them. My old stand-by was Safeway, but they have moved to a Metabank card.

Mine is the reloadable type, and I'll be loading it up to $1200 (currently at $500) at 1PM this afternoon, when the 24 hour time period expires after purchase on the reloadable card. Hopefully by 3PM EST (UTC-5) I'll post that all is good

EDIT: Decided to pm liquid and offer local advice rather then posting it.

Half Success......

I went to the local Grocery Store, and the silly old bag behind the customer service counter kept trying to scan the bar code... except there is no bar code on a mastercard, there's a magnetic strip.... So I went to Rite Aid... where there was 20 people in line... Then to the Local Oriental Market (advertised on Netspend)... Where I needed a translator, and realized they had no clue what I was talking about... Then finally ended up at a Check 'N Go... Cha Ching!

Loaded the bitch up for a total of $1202 (since Stars says you need to have $1 more on your card than you want to buy, as the card will carge a $1 fee).

Get back here, and load up my account for $600... Cha Ching! $150 Pending Bonus....

Then go to the wifes account... DENIED...PS Message box: You are only allowed $600/24 hours... I thought that was per ACCOUNT, not per VISA/MC!!!!

****ED!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... And the kicker is I had $500 I could have used 24 hours ago and only lost out on $500 of the transfer.... Guess I'm stuck with the $100 bank transfer for a lousy $25 bonus.... grrrrrrr.

Note Liquid: My card is an "all>access" reloadable Debit Master Card.

To keep the updates fresh.... I bought a $100 All-Access Gift card today. Got home 15 minutes later and tried PS, did not work. Waited 30 minutes, and had no problems. I did not have to do any type of activation.

not sure. if you've got one, why don't you give it a shot and let us know the results. the FBI doesn't come to your house if it's declined and you can still use it to buy bubble gum and moon whistles.

Well, I accidently bought the wrong kind of visa gift card and I'm considering using it to buy a virtual visa but would like to avoid the 4.00 "Proccessing Fee" if it doesn't work.
03-01-2009 , 06:05 PM
gotchya, makes sense. but you want to play pokers with the money, right? gambool up the $4. If it doesn't work, I'll ship you $1 on Stars. Deal?

ah nm.. epassporte also markets a "virtual visa" and it does not work on poker sites. No specific info as to wether this site does work but i would asssume it does not (most cards you can buy online and get a # right away dont)
03-01-2009 , 08:07 PM
Hmm, i know that at one point they worked, but I may just have to go out and get an all-access.

Anyone have recent success with the All Access Visa Gift Cards on AP or UB?

P.S. I know I deserve anything bad that might happen to me if I choose to play on those sites.

I bought a $50 netspend all access at a gas station two hours ago and just got back. I tried registering it online, and it says 'Log in Error: Invalid card information, please try again'. Did the clerk who sold it to me forget to activate it, or is there some kind of time lag on this?

The only lag is that you have to wait 30 mins after purchase.I'm assuming you reg'd online at www.allaccessgifts.com,if you haven't,then do so.I also assume you checked the card numbers carefully and entered them correctly, that would also include the 3 digit security code on the back of the card.

Just reread your post and it looks like you cant register it online, make sure you go to that web address I posted above. Also make sure this is an all access non-re loadable gift card.

If you still have trouble, bring the card and receipt(hope you got one) to the gas station because yes, these guys can screw up the activation.
