Now, do I go to this site to buy a card?:

Or is it this site?:

https://www.allaccessgift.com

Thanks in advance for the good advice and for clearing up this minor (but aggravating) mystery.

Do any of these work like the post above says? Where you can buy online and not have to wait for the phisical card and just deposit right away?

no matter what pre card you get you will have to wait 30 mins to an hour. thats just how the cards work.

Loaded at PS using the all access gift card.

Worked like a charm.

Hope to never have to reload again...

anyone buy a allaccess cards that you don't actually have to wait for the physical card in the mail?
Seems like there are no fees unless you hold the card over 6 month or close the account? (This chit is so ****ing confusing)

You can get one at a store and leave with it. Here's how to find a local point-of-purchase.
08-02-2008 , 01:51 PM
ok, I have been reading the threads... I just need someone to walk me through this.

I found a location that I can purchase a card.

Question: Are these preloaded, reloaded... or does it matter?

Queation; once I get the card home I have to register it?

Question: how long does it take to register it? Do I have to wait for a physical card to show up?

Thanks, to whoever can help...

I can't guarantee this is 100% accurate, but try it and if you have troubles, post here and I'm sure we can figure it out.

You tell the person at the store how much you want the card for. They charge about $5 more (so like $54.95 for a $50 card). I suggest making it for about $2-3 more than you want to deposit. You get a physical card to bring home.

Take it home and register via internet.

Make a sandwich and eat it. You need to kill about 1/2 hr. anyway.

Deposit for about $2-3 less than you have on the card (not sure why, but this seems to be an issue many have had.)

That oughta do it. Let us know if it worked, not just if you had problems.

so its an "all access" card? not a gift2go card?

does anyone have a link as to what the exact card looks like? I know there are a few at the store where I go.

thanks again, just trying to get the right one.

definitely you want "all-access"

here's a pic, but don't be surprised if it doesn't look exactly the same. just make sure it says "all-access" on it.

What website do you go to 2 register the card?
08-04-2008 , 05:44 PM
So i just bought an all access card. I just registered it... now im just waiting the "half hour" before I try and load it on my stars account.

I thought that someone said you didnt have to put your SS# on to get the card activated... but I had to.

this leads me to believe i have the wrong one... but I have the exact same one in the image above.

Anyone know?

i'm tired of ppl pming me about Visa pre-paid cards if you have questions about those post them in this thread or how about the the random Zoo post thread. I realize some of them are trolls and others are legit and its got to point where i cant tell which is which and i will delte all pm's about pre-paid cards w/o responding.

you must of bought the reloadable which is fine. If you had bought the non-reloadable card it would work and you wouldnt of had to givs SSN#, but you would have to buy a new card everytime you wanted to depsoit.

Greetings,

My experience is basically identical to yours. I haven't ever been rejected and I've never registered my card through their website. This is a neat method for people who want to retain their anonymity. Also, it's very swift and convenient. However, there is a drawback in terms of the terrible juice, especially on the $25 and $50 units. I typically buy the $100 units and pay the $5.95 fee. Unfortunately, on a few occasions I've seen all of the $100 packages scooped up and reluctantly (like if there's a bonus) bought them in $50 increments.

I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with the Mastercard rendition of these cards. The packaging is identical to the Visa version, except the logo is obviously different. I've seen these at a chain of convenience stores. I can't remember if Stars only takes Visa gift cards. Furthermore, do these cards work at any decent sites (Stars, Fulltilt, Bodog, Cake, etc.).

I have to admit I cringe when people give out such explicit information relating to the names of products. Maybe it's just unavoidable, but I wish people could at least use some discretion and be more tactful. It's such a self-defeating and short-sighted decision. Why piss in the well that quenches your thirst?

About 30-45 minutes after buying it I tried to deposit on PS and it worked perfect the first time I tried. I did not register the card through the website because a couple of people mentioned that it had worked for them without registering. I bought the "gift card", not the reloadable card. The charge for the card was $4.95 in the store and there was no fee on PS. The money was available immediately and I've been playing since then . This seems like the best deposit option right now but the only down-side is that $100 is the most you can get per card (as far as I could see in the store). I only got $50 to see if it works but they also have $25 cards available. The fees are comparable with EPassporte and this is what I will use in the future since I sent EPassporte an email a week ago and tried calling their support people a couple of times and still have not heard anything back from them.

here's my experience with prepaid VISA. I went here and found an an Ace Cash Express nearby.

Took my $600 cash to there. Gave my SSN# and showed my driver's license. They took down name, address, home phone, cell phone. Asked me what card picture i wanted so they could mail me a card though i'm never going to use it. They gave me a temporary card. They said the fee was $3.95, but they waived it b/c I loaded more than $250 on the card. I activated the card online, deposited $600 and it didn't go through. Deposited $599 and it went through. There's a $1 charge per transaction. Go with netspend, not allaccess visa. You can only load a max of $250 I believe on an allacess and the fees are higher. This was a lot easier than I expected. Deposit by echeck isn't available to me. gg FTP.

A couple questions:

1) I also went to www.netspend.com and found a location nearby that sells the all access visa cards. Would I be buying the actual card at that location or just a temporary one, and does it matter since I'm only planning on depositing the $$$ on the card to either PS or FTP?

2) Did you deposit deposit on PS or FTP?

Thanks.

I go to my local Advance America, pay cash and get the actual card. Then go online to ]www.netspend.com and register it. (I'm not even sure you hve to do this.)

I'm depositing on Stars, money's in my account instantly.

well, they give you a temporary one and mail you a permanent one. It's up to you if you want to use the permanent one or not. The temporary one is all you need to use the card the same day.

Loaded today on Stars All Access prepaid visa card gift card from netspend worked no problem. Although, had to load in 100 dollar increments with a $6.00 vig on each card. Didn't have to register card or give any personal information, just activate at register.

when you guys say all-access Visa card, are you talking about Netspend All-Access Visa cards? or what exactly?

did you have to pay $10 to get the card?
