Greetings,
My experience is basically identical to yours. I haven't ever been rejected and I've never registered my card through their website. This is a neat method for people who want to retain their anonymity. Also, it's very swift and convenient. However, there is a drawback in terms of the terrible juice, especially on the $25 and $50 units. I typically buy the $100 units and pay the $5.95 fee. Unfortunately, on a few occasions I've seen all of the $100 packages scooped up and reluctantly (like if there's a bonus) bought them in $50 increments.
I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with the Mastercard rendition of these cards. The packaging is identical to the Visa version, except the logo is obviously different. I've seen these at a chain of convenience stores. I can't remember if Stars only takes Visa gift cards. Furthermore, do these cards work at any decent sites (Stars, Fulltilt, Bodog, Cake, etc.).
I have to admit I cringe when people give out such explicit information relating to the names of products. Maybe it's just unavoidable, but I wish people could at least use some discretion and be more tactful. It's such a self-defeating and short-sighted decision. Why piss in the well that quenches your thirst?

I did not register the card through the website because a couple of people mentioned that it had worked for them without registering. I bought the "gift card", not the reloadable card. The charge for the card was $4.95 in the store and there was no fee on PS. The money was available immediately and I've been playing since then . This seems like the best deposit option right now but the only down-side is that $100 is the most you can get per card (as far as I could see in the store). I only got $50 to see if it works but they also have $25 cards available. The fees are comparable with EPassporte and this is what I will use in the future since I sent EPassporte an email a week ago and tried calling their support people a couple of times and still have not heard anything back from them.
