The long run probably gets you a ton of FPPs...

Just keep emailing them about your doomswitch situation. You will probably get emails back from them telling you that the doomswitch does not exist. The emails will also contain links that will try and prove it. Ignore these responses and keep sending emails. Eventually a "new" support person will read your email and it will be turned off for you. Be forewarned however that this can sometimes take months to get positive results.

Just send Kidpoker $0.02 every now and then, it really turned around my fortunes

Finished January with 88K VPP's, slightly ahead of pace. Not bad considering 80% of my play was at .50/1NL. Played over 200k hands.

Also was my worst month I have ever had money wise. Fortunately, i was able to purchase 3 $1500 bonuses to help ease the pain.

My goal is to get back to 1/2 and higher games, so I can cut back on the amount of hours I had to play in January. Oh, and also to stop getting beat by 1 and 2 outers every 5 minutes.

that's just mind boggling
01-31-2008 , 11:17 PM
January Results:
192,672 hands
79,557 VPP

February Goals:
Improve on my limit hold 'em game so I can have a winrate instead of a loss rate (although overall I did make money in January)

Scotty

Are these VIP EPT satellites going to be around for a while? (And the promotion changes as the tournament trail moves around i.e. WSOP etc.) If so I might have to start taking some shots at them. Pretty sweet that you guys are doing this.

Also have you considered a "tiered" entry fee whereas SilverStars would pay more in FPP and Elites would pay less kind of like the weekly/monthly VIP tournaments are set up?

Basically I'm saying that even though I haven't participated in this particular promotion I probably will in the future and I think it's definitely cool.

i wanted to ask Scotty this question.
What is the idea for the rule that your hand gets folded if you dont act in time, even there was no bet? Is it because it delays the game a bit thus the reduced rate of rake collection? This should be considered a check. At least, that is how it works on many other site. I ask this because I just had too many times when my hand got folded while I was thinking.

I don't know if this is the right place to discuss this, but on the step 6 monte carlo sngs they start with 10 people but at 2 tables, then as soon as someone gets knocked out it consolidates to 1 table. Was this intentional?

are you saying the tourney starts with 10 players at 5 on each table for 1 person? If so this has to be a mistake...

January = best month money-wise ever, if you include bonuses.

over 10% towards SNE. All is well.

Going skiing for a few days in Tahoe and then friends will be in town for the weekend, so Feb will have a late start just like this month did. But perhaps starting on the 8th is the best way to gain momentum.

Yes, then as soon as someone is knocked out it goes down to 1 table.

Wow...this just cant be what they wanted. I'm gonna email support. It should be funny to hear the copy/paste response the first support person sends back. Hehe, i can see it now...

It does it in the San Remo ones as well.

I passed 83333 VPPs at quarter to midnight and am officially 'on pace' for the first time after starting on the 16th.

We plan to have a lot of these type of VIP events in 2008. Every weekend in Feb has at least 1 event.
