How does it typically take for deposits from WU to show up in your account? I haven't played online since black friday (i literally played everyday for 12 years prior to that day) and I'm just anxious to get back into it.
Less than a day. Email Hero poker support as soon as you deposit it and I would think they can verify right away.

I did a deposit myself of $600 through WU online to take advantage of the initial deposit bonus up to 100%. The fee was $12 which Dave will be happy to reimburse so it costs you nothing. You don't have to go in, you can do it online, but it declined a bunch of times before I finally called my bank and demanded they let it go through (I'm with BofA and they just suck sometimes, it wasn't WU's fault.)

After signing up for a WU account online, they did e-mail me a 50% off coupon for the fee, so I was able to do it for $606 total ($6 fee instead of 12) And save Dave $6 bucks.

Just wanted to let you know that you can in fact do it online, even though I've heard many reports that you cannot (IDK why?) Maybe their bank was declining their debit card too and a phone call could fix that...

Good for you I deposited $100 today through W.U. at 4.30 pm, gave Hero support information at 5pm and here I am 6h later wondering wtf are they doing so long. I did not double checked, I triple checked and gave em information ( MTCN ) through every posible way but they still didnt deposited to my account. Let's say after this I play poker somewhere else. Hero support is like what ? What support ! If anyone doubts me, I can copy all emails sent to them, this is ridicilous !!! 12.50 am by the way, sinced 5pm, no one gives a S... at Hero Poker. Hopefully CEO DOES ?

That sucks, all I can say is that I promise that your situation is definitely the exception and not the rule... for whatever reason, Hero's main support line has been really slow lately and I've noticed that myself... you're better off e-mailing marketing@heropoker.com and Dan or Dave will take care if it much quicker that way, directly.

When I did it online, after sending the money and submitting the MTCN number I literally had my cash in my account no more than about 15 minutes later, I was shocked at how fast it was... Did you remember to convert it to Phillipine Peso?

Nobody thinks your lying, and I hope you get your cash soon... we know how amazing Hero Poker is, and all I can do is share my experience and hope you experience the same treatment (which I know you will, Dave's just ultra busy right now.)

I mean, I want everyone to play here to see what online poker and support should be like, as it's as close to Pokerstars that exists, but I'm definitely not going to spend all day trying to convince people, it should be pretty obvious why Hero is the best skin on merge hands down at this point. *shrug*

Seriously though, e-mail marketing@heropoker.com with something like "ATTN: Dave need urgent response" or something similar and I'm sure he'll get right on it even if he's swamped. That's what I would do if I were you... I bet it gets handled quickly if you go that route. I don't use the main support@heropoker.com line anymore at all myself.

I just got to the 2p2 PM's now, so I'm going to try to sort things out, truly I apologize for the network level support, its just not consistent, but I'm on it now and have escalated it right to the top.

And of course I'm always concerned, unfortunately it is the way the network sites are set up and while I'm looking to changing the structure, in the meantime, apologies and we're on it at this point.

Best,
Dave

This is a bit of a general query for any Aussies around;
What is the best way of depositing for us? WU seems to be for americans which seems to be the preferred method in this thread, I see there is 'Skrill' but I've never heard of that but was wondering if anyone has used it before and if there are any costs, ect.

Thank's for your thoughts on that. It is 17h now and no one responded me at their support so I wrote to Dave. It got late so i went bed and this morning I noticed Dave responded quickly and got right on it. Thank you for that Dave.

Still nothing though, and its 9h from his response, this is uneliavable really. The last time I deposited it was all done in 20m. I don't get it really. Even if there would be something wrong with my deposit aren't they suppose to inform you ? I sent my MTCN 6 times and not enough I guess. I will try the marketing email you sent me. You know what is funny, the third time I sent the information I also mentioned what is with my other questions I had days ago, and still no response, so they went over and responded to that instead of fixing my deposit problem.

I converted it to U.S. Dollars as they tell you to do so. 17h and counting

I will try the marketing email and Thank You for sharing this.

Jack

So, I played in a 24 person PLO freeroll last night just to try out the software and came in second for a .25 cent tourney voucher thingy.

I know it's just .25 cents but what can I use that for?

I think you're talking about the $1 24man PLO SitNGos; if you are the 'prize' you have collected is for all intensive purposes 'real' money.

It should be credited immediately into your account and should show up on the lobby as showing that you have $0.25 real money; which you can use for any real money games (such as the micro SitNGos).

The only 'catch' is that the winnings are 'play-through' which means that in order to withdraw the winnings you need to earn 75VIP points per $1 of 'play-through' winnings. VIP points are earned at a rate of 10VIP points per $1 'raked' in real money games.
However any money you win with that $0.25 does NOT have those requirements.
It is simply there to stop people only playing the Freerolls and cashing out the winnings without ever 'really' playing; while allowing the Freerolls to still exist and hence offer players a method to grind out a micro bankroll of a few dollars before starting the real money games.

Hope that helped.

Play another and win 8 cents more so you can enter the Micro Hero $30 guaranteed torneys. There's three of them, NL , HORSE, and Omaha. With the 65% overlay you get the most bang for your .33. I think those tourneys are the best way to build a bankroll here. You are playing only against 30-40 others.

So grind a few of the sng's and daily freerolls then take that money to the Micro Hero's to build it up quickly then you have enough for the cash games.

I've gotten word a few hours ago that this was sorted. Did support send you an email telling you this? If not apologies as I had assumed they would have, but ILl follow up with you now via email.
Best

If it is about the.auto post option at the table, its being worked on but I don't have a firm timeline yet. I will update when.I get word.

Dave's last post clearly coming from the new IPhone he got that he's still having trouble operating correctly... :P

Dave,

The "waiting for other tables to finish" announcement pulls focus from tables where play is actually underway. Can this be stopped? It's annoying as hell.
