I am here to warn you guys about the Agent Ruben Hernandez from Ibiza. This guy withdraw around 9K from my GG Poker account and didn't pay me. This was around 3.5 months ago. He said around 10 times that he will pay me soon but in the last moment always something special happened. Also he claimed that the Tax office of spain blocked his bank accounts, so thats why he couldnt pay, but failed to proof any evidence. I offered him that my lawyer talks with his lawyer or that he sends me a partially blacked official document that proofs his position, but he didnt want to! For me it is now very obvious that he just scammed me.
I have all the evidence and the case is very clearly, he admits that he took the money, also that he owes me the money and also it shows clearly that he failed more then 15 times to meet his own deadlines to pay or just even to send some documents. In fact it looks like he plays with me all the time. Saying he is on the way to the bank, and then quiet for 2 days or that his lawyer did send me a payment plan, but after i said there is nothing, again he is quiet since then...

On top of that, GG Poker refuses to do anything. I documented every relevant conversation and send the evidence to GG Poker, after one month they just said "provide me the documents", as if nobody investigated. After a few days then they said they can do nothing!

Imagine your agent steals your money and GGPoker lets it happen and doesnt do anything. I mean they closed his account, but he was long gone anyway! It looks like there is absolutely no legal consequence for a Agent to steal your money! So be super careful with the amount you let on GG Poker!

I just want to say again, the case is very clearly. My lawyer even says that. Every side admited what happened and every step is very well documented. So keep this in mind before you comment. You wont get it better then that.

I am here to warn you guys and also to search for any advice. It looks like my next step is to mail the Gambling comission and find this scammers adress. I dont understand why GGPoker is acting like that, because i think my chances are good with the Gambling comission. Any help is much appreciated.

GG won’t give you personal details about an agent or player. They might give information if a request from law enforcement came to them

Yeah they stopped to mail me after i asked for the adress and threatened with the gambling comission. I need his adress to make a complaint anyway, so GG will not get anything anyway Lets see what the gambling comission will say!

Forever confused as to why people feel the need to play on these sites which require an additional level of faff to play on, and as we see here, an additional point of failure which has seen the OP lose their money

GG is not a network which requires an agent to play, though for some structures that is a better approach. I would say I get confused when people deal with rando agents/affiliates with no track record.

im confused as to how an agent via a regulated site like gg has access to your funds you hold on your account on the site?

Can you please explain in more detail how your agent dealt with your funds, also where are you living and or playing from?

GG has agents who provide accounts and deals to players on regulated markets that could not directly subscribe in the network. In that case, the agent also manages deposits and withdrawals. I assume the author plays from Spain and wanted to play on GG anyway.

It does require an agent if your country is not allowed to play in it

I don't know OP and have no idea where he is from, but most people I know who play on GG via agent do it because that's the only way they can.

Ruben from Ibiza sure sounds like a reliable guy. Guess I'm lucky I don't have to deal with random agents to play online. And out of curiosity isn't that whole lawyer thing just a waste of your money and time? Is there a smallest chance a lawyer could make him pay you? You live in different countries right?

Well thats what u get when u play from where u should not play. And lol at contacting the gambling commission when u are playing from an "illegal" country through an agent. Thats like calling the police after a failed drug deal.

This is due to have a better RB deal then to play from a illegal country... if i wouldnt know it better then you guys must be related to Ruben or why all this negativity? And no it wasnt just a random dude, he showed me his records and when i know that somebody does 2-3k per month with me, has several players under him and the Poker site is screening him before he can work with them, then i assume the probabilties that he robs me are very low.

Why would GG extend their name to what has been proven many times to be a pretty shady operation? Clubs are a gamble, too many people just throw their money out to any club that asks you to join without proper research.

So u could legally play from Germany/Austria and you still decided, out of greediness, to play through an agent that is based in ibiza? Sorry if the truth hurts but you are the only one to blame here. And what did you expect the "shitty Community" is going to do? Take an airplane to ibiza to talk with the guy?

This agent system should not be legal, any pokersite who is regulated should be penalized if they use agents in the form GG does (letting players play from illegal country and offering better rakeback deals). no sympathy here sorry.

Only the miserable cretins who get their enjoyment from shitting on people who have been scammed turn up in these threads unfortunately its not a accurate assessment of the community on the whole. GL getting your money back but it seems unlikely based on what you said. Probably higher EV to write it off and not sink more time and effort into a impossible task of finding this dodgy agent in Ibiza.

You do realize that GG is complicit here in that they are the ones that allow agents to have access to player accounts? Pretty LOL that people here are crapping on OP and not GG. Or is it "don't rock the boat because it keeps the fish pond full"?

You can allow agents/affiliates with your site and not be responsible for them failing to meet agreed upon terms. Most major sites back in the day had affiliates and many of them went belly up without the sites taking responsibility.

The matter of fact is, if you are using an agent, you are doing it on a trust-only basis. So you better choose well or **** like this happens.

Additionally, the only reason you are using an agent is that you are skirting regulations or other barriers, so you know from the start of the risks as what you are doing is shady.
