I have had VERY extensive problems with the FTP checks issue. Until today I had not received ANY checks since EARLY June. I have had 8 or 9 checks processed, approved, and then canceled by FTP and returned to my account. I submitted two checks on 8/14 and 8/15, and today I received the 8/14 check via USPS. I live in LA, and it was a well known bank check which I promptly cashed and was overjoyed to see that it did not bounce. My 8/14 check was just under $3,000, and the 8/15 check is significantly over so I do not yet know if perhaps there is a cutoff amount for shipping via FedEx.

Hopefully the check issue is gone for good.

NFuego20 - did you deposit it with no problems?

Requested: 8/15
Approved: 8/19
Check Received: 8/23

Really suprised at how fast it came after getting approved. Maybe they're finally getting their **** together there.

DDrewno please do not write specific processor information. You are hoping the check issues are gone for good but contributing towards potential future problems.

Thanks

I checked my mail after the bank was closed, so I'll be depositing it in about three hours when my bank opens. However, I've deposited numerous checks from this same processor before with no problems. My bank usually puts a hold on the funds for the check for up to a week, but it eventually shows up in my available balance.

This has been debated before, but just to be on the safe side can we make sure that everybody PLEASE does not mention the bank names or processor names specifically. You never know which bank might get spooked by knowing that checks drawn on their bank are related to gaming. Though it's a longshot these forums would necessarily be a direct influence, we should still be on the safe side.

So if a mod could edit those specifics out that would be appreciated.

I know it's nothing intentional DDrewno since that was your first post, but it's better to speak in generalities in this thread. For what it's worth my check was from the same processor as yours, or at least the same bank anyway.

From good processor, west coast bank that has been used in the past if I recall. I'm in Ohio.
What's this I hear about requesting a check through a special Full Tilt email? For those who have received their checks, did you request normally through the Cashier or did you use the special email?

Thanks.

I requested through the cashier. For some players that option doesn't show up in the cashier (not sure why, might have something to do with their location), but for those players they need to e-mail the cashier or whatever other e-mail address they provide if there is one.

I've seen a handful of people post receiving checks after approval on the 19th and it's only in the past day or so. I'd chill out until you give it at least a few more days. If you get your check any time in the next week there's nothing unreasonable about that at all. I'd be surprised if you don't have it by Tuesday based on the recent success people are having.

To further respond to an inquiry somebody made about depositing my check, I did so this morning with no problems. The tellers have never questioned anything with these checks, though I bank at a mid sized regional bank. Other banks might be different.

Well that kills the theory that the types of checks we get and how we get them are based on location I guess. I'm on the border of Cleveland and got my check via USPS from a US bank.
