The Rolling avg is prolly a recalculated points number based on FTP's new points system...The amounts of points you earn went up drastically esp for 6 max players(except for FR points went up only slightly)...

Is there any way to get Holdem Manager to show the rakeback for just you instead of dealt?

I have PT3, but with the changes its just .27 * Rake and not .27 * MGR right?

Sorry to disappoint but it still says Black Card Status: Member

Overall this was looking like a big fat fail but with the point changes this may turn into a win. 2x / 3x ftp multiplier plus more ftps for 6-max players means bonus cleared significantly faster and far more ftps per $ raked. Not including the bc multiplier 6-max players will be getting 1.67x more ftps, add in the 2x bc multiplier and 6-max players will be clocking up ftps 3.2x faster (5x faster in happy hour) than before - that is a LOT.

with the new ftp calculation the rake requirement for black card full year is nearly identical to SN1, can't be a conincidence

The big news is not blackcard, thats the cherry, the changes to ftps realy blows SN out of the water now...

False. If you're not a high level Iron Man, you lost RB with this update if you put in the volume that the guy with 2.4k avg had.

Sorry I meant rake, not rakeback. The problem is HEM doesn't have the "rake" stat, it only has an "MGR" stat that is called Rake. Unless if I'm missing something...

I noticed this when I switched from PT3 to HEM, but it was never a problem until now.

This wouldn't work because the new rakeback is calculated based on what % of the pot you contributed to, not on if you win the pot or not.

It reverses the math and rakeback now favors action players and punish's nits, where the old system had much higher effective rakeback% for tighter players.

meh, points used and black card bonus received are both still being deducted from rakeback

Ok, so here goes with a RB calc:

Assume we play 500ftps/day overall, so we have Iron every month. At my iron month level, over the next year, I'll earn 800*12 = 9600 medals worth $1920 in cash bonuses. I also get $1200 in mid/end-year bonuses for $3150 from iron man. I paid 500ftps * ($0.10 rake paid per ftp as per new policy) * 365 days = $18250 in rake. So, Iron Man is worth 3150/18250 = 17% rakeback at this level. You can substitute however many iron man medals you get to derive your rakeback with the above formulas.

With black card each dollar you pay in rake is worth on average 10ftps, so with BC that's 20ftps. Those 20ftps in BC store bonuses are worth 20ftps * (2000 / 480000) * .73 = $.061. So BC is 6% RB.

Altogether this means I get 27% + 17% + 6% = 50% RB. Did I do it right?

most of the extra 23% affects MGR. So it's 27%+ 0.73 * 23% = 43.8%

And the RB% from ironman still goes down as you increase your volume
