A disconnection issue.

I made it to the final two in a 140 person limit tournament. I started as the chip leader, but suffered a disconnection, presumably caused by my ISP. I got back on within five minutes to find that the opponent had finished blinding me out seconds ago. He was working fast!

There was a $500 difference between first and second.

I know disconnections are a complicated issue, but please toss around increasing the time allowed to get back on in select circumstances. Maybe use thresholds of the amount at stake, and number of players left. Five minutes, three people, $900 first place, are my suggestions.

Doug, the one about the rake at 10NL is a BIG one. People at these limits (including me) are just trying to build a BR. Most of these players have many leaks and the higher rake isn't helpful. The higher games all have caps on rake, can we get lower rake and/or a cap per pot!?!? Please Doug. Help the lowest limit guys out.

So let me get this straight....in a nutshell you are playing 4x as much, 4x as hard....for a maximum potential payout that is nearly ultimately the same as a 1 table sitngo...

sure you can try it out.
but when you normally play 4x a 10$ SnG you can now just play a 50$ Matrix, because it includes 4 10$sng + this strange sidepot-pointsystem, which i dont like. not a fan of knockout tournements.

When I made the stud suggestion I had hoped you included stud8 with that. I don't see them so I guess they aren't there. Can you add them and L08 turbo sngs?

For those stating this argument, the purpose of playing lower level sng's is to help mitigate any edge loss. You want to ensure that you are playing with people worse than you. Why should I be required to play at 4X the level I'm currently playing at when I can make the same amount of money with a greater edge, and thus reduced risk. The whole concept sucks for anything besides a distraction from your regular game. And it sucks further still because it has come at the expense of step tournies I'm sure.
