That won't happen.

They obviously don't care about their reputation as we, the poker players, obviously don't care about their reputation. We kept on playing after Battlefield/etc. went busto with our moneys, didn't we?

Also, it's probably in the ballpark of $5M or smth so that's not chump change even for MG.

all MG sites pulled out of the US markets except for EL. Some states in the US, like Illinios have connection to MG sites blocked. My friend another 2p2r was given instructions how to bypass the 12state bann and connect, but it lagged and it was slow. El gave instructions.

I don't think that's quite right. Microgaming stopped allowing new US accounts a while back. Before that only certain states weren't allowed. Even after they stopped allowing new US signups players with existing accounts could still play there. There are several Microgaming sites I have accounts with that I can still play at but choose not to after the Tusk debacle.

Whether Eurolinx gave players instructions on how to bypass the 12 state ban or the later entire US signup ban I don't know but if they did I wouldn't be surprised.

Back in March there was a thread about Eurolinx possibly going bankrupt after a player's large withdrawal request was delayed almost a month. The thread was deleted by 2 + 2. The user then made a thread about his EL account being closed for making that thread. 2 + 2 closed that thread too and banned him. Now who's laughing?

Another reason why one shouldn't take away another's rights to free speech for the sake of money. How much did 2 + 2 make off Eurolinx advertisement for it to be whilling to sell off its readers and letting them get screwed over for thousands of dollars? What credibility does that leave the 2 + 2 message boards?

There is always good and bad feedback about online Poker sites. You should not filter out the bad and let the readers get misleaded. Why would a player make up a story if it wasn't true? The user that requested the withdrawal was up by a lot and I'm sure he was happy playing with them until they screwed up his withdrawal.

I am playing with PokerStars and I never leave a high balance in my account. I cashout often and sometimes deposit often too if I have too. I am very satisfied with them but if they mess up a withdrawal, any withdrawal, I will post. Would I get banned for it too?

2p2 isnt a test case for 1st amendment rights. its their business and they can do what they want with it. start ur own forum, and u can do what u want with it. 2p2 is really good resource for poker people despite its flaws.

For sure it is. I'm just trying to think why they would erase truthful information from a player who was getting screwed at a site for an important sum of money. What was the client's motive to lie or slander? Was he angry because he took a bad beat? Not likely as he was winning a while bunch. Was EL not able to pay him? The money was won from other players who had creared the sum from their accounts.

Maybe it had something to do with eurolinx paying alot of money (80k area per year to 2+2 if i remember the thread correctly) to have their own forum on here. If that was true, you think it was the players money they used for it lol. I live in NJ and was also told by EL on seperate occasions on how to bypass the state thing, which really wasnt a big deal since i knew what to do already, but just went to show you what they were about.

Hi all,

Have been reading this whole thread, because I am one of the affected players of BOB's close down. Personally have my whole BR stuck, USD 36,000, and agree that joining forces are the best way to move on.

Furthermore I have written a mail to Ladbrokes saying that as long they are using Microgaming I am not playing their site anymore. Putting presure on Microgaming could be another alternative. So write all the big Microgaming skin users if u have any account there, and tell them the same as I told Ladbrokes...

To be fair both sides came out of that looking pretty bad. I don't think 2+2 stopped the converstation and CM attempted mediation but determined both sides had a lot of blame to be piled on them and as such put a warning on his site.

I dont think he is referring to Big Rounders thread. Big Rounder has posted here and has not said that was him. If it is true that someone started a thread and it was DELETED because EL paid 2+2 to keep a forum thats just scummy.

Can one of the MODS from this forum comment on that statement.

I lost about 13K on Eurolinx.

I would be please to join the group who wants to take lawyer like Givmild and Jokotolino.

I lost my money at EL, is there already any information available about the liquidators? Where do I need to send my details to?

For BoB, I saw you need to send also an printscreen of your bankroll, but I don't have such printscreen, is this a big problem?

There is no info for liquidators so far. No-one has screenshots so i wouldnt worry about it too much as your details should be held on BOB's system.

I don't remember this and I would like to check if any part of it is true to any extent.

What date was the post?

Who was the poster?

Which forum was it in?

Who else posted in the thread?

Anything else I can use to search for the thread?

(As a mod, I can see all deleted posts and banned users, and can search for them.)

Not quite what you were saying, if it is, TitaniumNutz.

Edit: No. This is BigRounder72's thread. I can't find any other likely candidate, yet.

so guys how do we go about organizing ourselves here ? I had 12 k and will happily use 10% or more if it gets us any money.
I had a withdrawal that id been waiting on for about 3 weeks also so im guessing thats not registered as a part of my account even. Plus some $ on the betting account. Very frustrating. But i def. think we should team up here.

Hi you guys,

I am currently traveling in South America (fantastic timing, I know) and I have a hard time organizing anything in a larger scale for all of us. But I will happily do everything I can from here and I would pay my fare share for getting us a lawyer that can sort this out.

Please keep in touch with me if you guys are starting something. Currently, my action is to write to the Malta Gaming Commition and state my complaint. Furthermore, I am thinking about contacting the police and my consumers advocate in Sweden.

Keep in touch.

I certainly think we will get alot further with this if we work together and pool our money for any legal help.
Also heard from someone that Remme was playing in a cash game in a casino in Malta recently. With our money! what a scumbag.

I had 15 000 dollars, the majority of my roll. I would like to take part in this process, but I do not know if I am any useful since I have no time nor money at the moment. I could definetely pay 10-20 % of my Eurolinx money to someone who fights for this. Seriously, you would think that some good lawyer is interested in this, if there are this many players who have exactly the same case on Eurolinx/BetonBet. We should join together and make an offer to someone.

I heard somewhere that some Cardrunners guys had big money on Eurolinx and they have hired a lawyer to handle the case. Does anyone have any more information about this?
