Do I owe Eurolinx $100k?
On March 24th, I requested a wire withdrawal of my balance of $145,000. I was told the wire would take 2-7 business days, and received an email confirmation from Lydia, the VIP manager, that my wire would hit my bank on April 3rd. Nothing arrived on April 3rd, and the Owner and CEO of Eurolinx, Jo Remme promised to "put a trace" on it (which he did not). He then emailed me early Friday morning and advise me that "there is a slight delay or 1-2 days", which would mean the wire shoud arrive no later then today (Monday, April 7th).
On Friday even, Jo Remme, offers to "advance" me and credit my poker account $245,000. Hmm, strange, has anyone else ever received an "advance" from any MicroGaming site, especially in the amount of 1/4 of a million? I accepted, and in a matter of 12 hours lost the entire amount.
I expected to receive the promised wire of $145,000 today, and I would have then wired them the $245,000.
On Monday morning, I received an email from Jo Remme telling me that "fortunately we were able to cancel the wire for $145,000....the amount you need to wire is only $100,000"
WTF...How are you able to cancel the wire for $145,000 on Monday, April 7th, when it was first to have been received April 3rd, then April 7th, but in fact, as of April 7th (10 business days after being requested) it had not even processed.
I'll like the opinion of 2+2ers on whether I should send them the $100,000 or if I am in the right that Eurolinx first needs pay me the $145,000 which was promised to me.
All comments are appreciated.

I can't believe you were advanced a quarter mil by a poker site. Do you know the owners personally?

Nope, never met the owners.
And I HAVE NEVER EVEN send them prove of age or identity!
I have sent them large wires and other deposits totalling over $100,000.

I don't understand. If it's your $145k, why should you have to pay to release it?
Why can't you withdraw in accordance with their normal T&C?

Re: Eurolinx refuses to pay me my $145,000!
Why on earth would they wire you the $145,000 when you allegedly played with $245,000 supposed borrowed money from Eurolinx than lost it all? Basically you owe them $100,000
Why didn't you just cancel the wire and play with your $145,000? These sounds like a joke to me.

Re: Eurolinx refuses to pay me my $145,000!
As an additional piece of data, about one month ago, I was advanced $65,000 and that is the balance I immediately run up to $145,000.
I asked Jo Remme, if I can cancel my wire which I was sending to him for the $65,000 and just have him deduct the advance from my balance.
Jo Remme refused to do this, and said that I MUST complete the wire for the $65,000 advance for his "audit purposes". I obliged, and completed the wire for the $65,000.
This morning I asked him to do the same, complete his $145,000 as promised, and he pretty much told me to go **** myself (in different words).
Just some more info on the situation.
I welcome to have Lydia or Jo comment and reply to this post.

I've never heard of anyone advancing money on a poker site. Are you sure you aren't dreaming?

Eurolinx Executive Meeting:
Exec 1:
"Some guy is trying to cashout 145k."
Exec 2:
"1. Tell him we are working on it."
"2. Give him an advance of 245k."
"3. Doomswitch him."
"4. ??????"
"5. Profit."

Spartan, I agree with you that I owe them $100,000, but when they'd owed me $145,000, they demanded that I wire wire them $65,000 that I owed them, before paying me.
I am basically asking them to do the same thing. Obviously Jo Remme trusts me enough to advance me $245,000, but I don't have the same trust of them, since I was constantly lied me about when I would be receiving my $145,000.
If they wire me the $145,000, I have no problem paying them what I owe them.
They are being hypocritical.

whazup46...
Did you make up that chat, or did you really find it on the net somewhere?
The actual amount of my withdrawal was $145,020, not $145,000.
If it's real, can you publish the link?
Would be greatly appreciated

Re: Eurolinx refuses to pay me my $145,000!
This seems so out of the ordinary that a poker site would advance you money, especially since you don't know them. Puzzling really, not saying I don't believe you, but eh, that doesn't make sense to me.
