KEW, I'm all for bad players sticking around and any ways of enticing these type of players should be welcomed but giving them a little more rakeback % would have absolutely no effect on this and would simply alienate all those players getting a smaller percentage and yet are the ones effectively paying the poker sites wages.

Obviously a varying RB% scheme based on losing amounts could NEVER work..."Effective" RB come's in many forms...

From a certain POV the SNE are not paying the sites wages...SNE are net winners and thus take money off the site an out of the poker economy..It is the losing players that bring to money to the table and it's the losing players money that is divided up between the sites and the winning players...

So a winning player paying lets say $50K per annum in rake does not make the site money? but a fish who plays occasionally and pays lets say $100 in rake makes the site their profit? mmmmmm I'll have to think more about that one.

It is serious players that make the site their money. It is the fish that make the winning players their money. Agreed everyone needs a big pool of fish though but there has never been a lack of those.

iron man doesnt help at all. i get like 600 dollars every 3 months from it plus i'm pretty sure they deduct the bonuses from rakeback

Exactly- a site filled with only SNE would die a quick death because of dead games.

I must have missed the part where I suggested we want a site full of just SNE's

Thinking about it probably won't help as much as doing a search would. Winning players don't technically pay rake. It's more complicated than that but I gave up trying to explain it in the cake thread because it ended up as a bunch of tards arguing ZOMG LOL I PAYED 10K RAKE THE SITE NEEDS ME HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!!!!??
