I have a double charge from cake on my bank statement and I sent this email to them.

Thank you for your e-mail. We have just been in contact with our Credit Card Processor and have verified that the purchase you submitted was successful. Please note that before your Credit Card Issuer puts through a purchase transaction they will confirm that the client has enough funds on his/her credit card by placing a hold on the amount of the purchase. If the 'hold' is successfully placed then the purchase transaction is run through. In your case although your Credit Card Issuer was able to successfully place the hold, and though your transaction was successful the hold has yet to be removed.
Please be assured that the hold will be removed from your credit card within the next few days. While in the majority of such cases we see the hold removed within 72 hours we have seen it take as long as a week for the hold to be removed. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I don't know whether to be impressed that support contacted me so quickly or to lol at the improbability that they could call the credit card processor, find my information, and email me back in less than 2 minutes.
