After reading abit around about Betraiser, it seems like they have a very big problem around IP`s, and thats very sad. TONS of players is getting banned for no reason.

Just search for "Betraiser" in google for example OR just look at this thread. The first one getting banned for "multiple accounts" is already at Page 1 in this thread. After seraching in google, all the forum or player-review sites had tons of players getting banned because of "multiple accounts on PC". The story is the same everywhere.

Some Examples:

"I was enjoyng to get freeroll prizes there. But they blocked my account, saying I would have more than one, wich wasn't true. I explained many times I just had one account, wich I used from more than one computer. It didn't help. They just don't get. It didn't happen just to me. It isn't nice to be acused of fraud! "

"signed up yesterday, tried to enter a tourney today and was barred because I have multiple accounts and IPs. The IP part may be right because of the ISP I use but I have only one account anywhere."

luckily, i didnt deposit. I wouldnt recommend doing it.

I played a freeroll, won 8euros, and got the EM "your account has been opened by another user", as soon as the freeroll sng ended
I emailed support and no response
I tried reconnecting and there was a SW update which i installed. My firewall detected it as spyware/keylogger, and i of course denied access to all resources and proceeded to uninstall, clean registry, etc...
I'm not saying anything except that this is all veeery fishy. "

- So alot of people at Betraiser had the same problem i had - suddenly accused of multiple accounts only because i share the same IP as someobdy else. In my case i share it with 30.000 people, because im at a University-fiber-connection. they seriosly should do something about this problem.

I bet they are abit incompetent, and the technical team is just frustrated about so many using "the same IP adress and trying to cheat us at betraiser.com" without having the knowlegde or the tools of getting unique ID from players with same IP adresses. Somewhere i guess they also have changed the TOS and login system just because of this illusional problem of theirs - because just look at the start of the TOS (Terms of Service) :

"Terms & Conditions: BetRaiser"
"Once per person / once per computer/ new players that received promotional email. If player has more than one account he will not be eligible for any betraiser.com promotions."

AND

When u log in you have to agree to Betraisers "Fair Play Agreement", where more or less the same is mentioned again.


Wasnt Yakmelk about to call them and talk serious buisness with them about the future? if u still havent called them - please tell them that they should look into this IP-auto-ban-problem of theirs - i bet like 40% of their accounts are auto-banned because of a script running


Like many mentioned, this buisnessmodel should really get a chance, beacause its a very great idea, but its a shame admins/support are more or less afk at betraiser.com

I hope so too. At some point they have to see that they have an unrealistic long ban-list of players.

When u actually is able to start play at the site, software is suprisingly good. its not like Partypokers big errors in the early days.


if the site gets 2-3.000 + players, the site will explode, im sure , who will stay at PS / FT / Cake / others - when they got this rake free option avalible

False, since all tournaments and SNGs are rake-free at betraiser.

Yes, a fee for each jackpot tournament - and the fee went to boost the jackpot.

Tried opening an account with them today. None of their phonecodes work. Keep asking for and getting new ones but still nothing.
No surprise there's no traffic there if they can't get a simple sign-up procedure right.

Yes, very annoying, - but try to use the first 3-4 of your mobilephone digit in the "local area", and the rest where the mobile phone actually is suppose to be at. That worked for me.

My phone number was entered correctly and I'm getting the text messages from them. It's the codes they send to activate my account that don't work.

Yes that phone code is very annoying I ended up contacting their chat support for help. I was told to fill in all the spaces with your telephone number and that seem to work for me.

I saw on the homepage and they are giving a free 5 euros to all new accounts..

Just my luck! I wish I got that free money when I signed up!

Tried to cash out 150 euro from the original 20 euro i deposited, but it said i couldnt cash out. Mailed support, and support told me the reason is that im still banned, so i cant cash out.
So the only thing they unbanned me from, was to deposit money and play on the site

Congratulations! This is by far the worst site in the history of poker.

I really wish Betraiser could grow more The software is decent and they actually maintain it. True that support is limited but with current traffic, I'm not sure they need an office full of monkeys.

Glad you joined the forums. I have been playing BR since last year, and hopefully your presence can bring more players on board.

I know this thread is full of people who had issues with the Phone activation. I imagine that would have been a problem for your casual gamblers as well. I hope resolving that and the addition of a 4-Color deck, can help us get more tables running.

just tried to register last night, no 5 euros received: they're telling me I'm multiaccounting on this computer (not by IP then) and theres nothing they can do about it "its just how the system works"

another betraiser account was never created on my computer, so I would be hesitant about making a deposit there. I definitely wont if they're going to lie to my face.
