ok thanks for the info. think its stupid but at least i know b4 i wd.

on to the disconnects.

the previous 2 days i played about 8 hours on the site w zero problems. i was hoping the problems were resolved and i would come on here and have a positive story to share. but my hopes were dashed tonight.

mind you i had borgata running side by side w ZERO problems.

my 888 log for tonight:

logged on @ 830pm (late reg 10k freeroll)

knocked off at 902pm (32 minutes)
tried logging in 6 x back to back and still no go. went to laptop and got back on.
tried to log on from laptop @ 907pm took 2 tries but i got back on.

logged back in using desktop @ 1007p
knocked off at 1040p (33min)
888 let me log on only after 1 try from desktop this time

logged on @ 1041p
knocked off @117am ( 2hours and 36min woot woot world record yaalll)

waited a while b4 i tried to get on again.
888 let me log in after only 1 sign in on my desktop this time
logged on @142am
knocked off at 155a (13minutes)

so yeah **** this.
it wouldnt be so bad if 1. it let me play my fothermucking hand out before it folds me out and 2. i could always get back on my desktop right away.

once this 10k freeroll ends i dont really see a point in continuing playing on 888. i might just withdraw b4 i clear my bonus. its just not worth it. im grateful that i built up a ok roll on 888 b4 i ever deposited but now this is too much bs.

lol just got kicked off 888 after being on for 32minutes.
tried logging back on but after 5 failed attempts and getting the below message i gave up.

This seems like really awful policy.

Posted this on wsop forum but since there is no interaction between the rep and players i'd post it here as it should apply to both sites.

Is there a way to auto close these user message popups when a table opens? They are super annoying to have to click especially if you have tables in a stack. If you don't click the ok button on them you will time out on tables as this has to be clicked first. There needs to be an auto close button for these boxes.

888rep, I've been meaning to post this, you have to have a minute limit on hit and runs.

You got D-bags coming on tables semi-short, run it up on a quick double up or so and they bounce, literally seconds later comeback to the same table with the same stack they started with.

I hadn't played since the Black Friday time frame, but sites used to have I think a 30 minute reentry minimum to stop this ish.

This isn't like an epidemic, but it happens a solid amount on the shorter tables.

Just now dude buys in for like $60 on the 50/1, runs it up to $125-ish in 10 minutes, leaves the table and literally 40 seconds later comes back on with $80.

That ish is legit not cool.

And don't get me wrong, we all hit and run sometimes, especially online. A lot of times I'll have literally like 20 free minutes before I have to do something, whether work or errands, going out, etc. and I'm like, I'm gonna try to double up quick...

But you have people who's entire stee is, let me sit down with a short stack, run it up as quick as possible to at least double, leave the table and IMMEDIATELY come back to the exact same table and probably same seat with whatever they originally bought in for or a touch more.

You can't allow this, it's bad for the game.

Are you sure? I've left tables to go eat or something and come back 20 minutes later and gotten a popup about the 888 "ratholing policy" telling me I had to wait until 30 minutes are up or buy in for what I left with.

Same here. The window that pops up even says due to our rat holing policy you must bring the full amount you left with back to the table.

This is not allowed due to our ratholing policy so if you see it happening again can you send the details to support@888poker and they will investigate it for you, thanks.

No there is no setting in the software to do this but I will pass your feedback on for you.

Hmm... well I for sure saw it last night playing 1/2 and I swore I saw it two other times on the 25/50 cent tables about 2 weeks ago.

But last night for sure, I'll try and find it in my hand history, but I played a lot last night.

I'm imagining it's some software glitch that rarely happens then, like the reported incidents with myself and a couple others I saw reported here where in the tourney's it wound up heads up in a hand and the player who was supposed to act first wound up acting second and vice versa.

Figure I'd toss out a bit of praise to the 888 rep and 888 support team for hooking up a free roll ticket when I had technically registered for my 5th mtt of the day a few minutes after the 11:59pm cut off time. They were prompt in response and even followed up again once they issued me the ticket to make sure I was satisfied.

Small gesture but still, scored some points in my book.

Indeed. I should just stop complaining and reporting issues, both personal and actual software glitches and the such.

I've stated for the record 888 has the best actual software and layout when it runs properly, IMHO, so I don't hold back any praise either.

You can always just ignore my posts, that's an option.

And lastly, I have meant to post, the connection issue has more or less went away completely. I've seen others report this as well and that is a MAJOR step in the positive direction. That was really my only lasting concern. I know others agree, it was damn near unplayable at times in the higher limits of the low limits for fear of being disconnected in a big pot or big spot in a tourney.

Check your email. Promo just got from 888, What's better than a freeroll every day? A freeroll every hour. 24/7 freerolls are here.

LOL they are running and when I click to claim my tickets it says the bonus doesn't exist.

888 Rep,

This might seem like a minor complaint, but I'm surprised it hasn't been brought up before. In tournaments that end up with 41-50 people your payouts are incorrect.

They are as follows

1. 32%
2. 18%
3. 12.5%
4. 10.5%
5. 8.3%
6. 7.3 %
7. 6.2%
8. 5.2%

The problem is that the jump from 7th to 6th is 1.1% and the jump from 6th to 5th is only 1%. It's supposed to stay the same or increase with each spot you move up.

6th should be getting 7.2% and 5th should get 8.4%.
