Seemed like Craig was trying to be the one who wasn't afraid to push with the final table lurking. would not have been suprised to see Hamrick fold pairs from JJ on down in that spot with Craig's push. He's at a spot with 11mill that he doesn't need to fight right there, especially with the 600k increase in prize money and the delayed final table. I think Craig got unlucky that Dean had QQ and he got lucky when he 4 flushed. I was hoping to see a local guy at the final table though, Dean seemed to carry himself as well as anyone at the Main Event

Being a woman who plays poker, I thought I would throw my .02 in on TM...

She said in her interview she played with a bunch of guys. On her site, it says that she played in home games with actors. I am certain that ALL of the attention she received was positive. She thinks she's cute and is probably used to talking a lot of trash and having others think she's cute.

If she had been grinding it out @ Commerce/The Bike/HP she would be well versed in how to act at the Main Event. She would already know how to deal with the negative attention a semi attractive woman can attract at the poker table. Those can be some harsh lessons, but need to be learned.

In watching her, I think she bristled at not being able to wow a bunch of guys and, I think this happened mostly on a subconscious level. Her buttons got pushed and instead of crying or playing the victim, she went on the attack, engendering more hatred until practically the whole table turned on her.

Having a few years (15) on Miss Michelle, I think this was the best thing that could happen to her as a poker player. She needs to re-evaluate and if she is capable of growth, it will probably make her a better player in the end. She looks about 30, but she's still only 24.... I don't know any women who understand men or poker at 24.

This is probably too long, and I put WAY too much thought into this but I'm bored @ work...

No way Dean can fold even 88 for what was like 3 million more, he even kind of said he thought Craig must have had it. You have to remember, it wasn't just a raise, Dean re-raised, Craig only had a little over 5 million.

If Eastman can fold AK, Dean can fold 88 in that spot. The risk in that spot with a middle pair isn't worth it at that point, amassing chips and winning 9 mill is one thing, but with 300k difference from 10th to 9th+ the added coverage for months, I personally think it's foldable. but then i'm not a fan of getting in even when it's 60/40 preflop. He ended with 72/28 to win, so with QQ it was the right move, but with 2 unders, the odds aren't as good and the risk/reward of going into the final table with 11mill vs 14mill isn't a huge reward in the long run.

absolutely... it wasn't meant to be an excuse, rather an explanation...

it's kind of like people you see at work, and you realize that they have never had their ass kicked, because if they had, there is NO WAY they would act like that.

So if playing more equals better behavior, what about Duke/Hellmuth?

Go read the thread she started in NVG, she still doesn't get it.

(Cliff notes by Kesky)

Tiffany: Hi, honey. You got it all wrong, sweetie. I'm just a young, cute chick making it deep in The Main Event, which is huuuuuuuugeeeeeeeeee for poker. Anyway, the tv editing doesn't give right portrayal of the situation. I was just a cute chick enjoying some table banter with the boys. I am sure Craig would tell you the same thing if he was here right now.

*Craig Marquis walks in to the room*

Craig: God, I hate that bitch.

bit of a difference between the 2 situations. Dean committed himself against Craig's stack. Now if Phillips had gone all in then maybe.

It you are folding 88 to a relatively small raise you are making the wrong play. The situation is not relevant in this particular situation.

There are some situations where there is right and wrong and folding 88 getting 3/1 is wrong. If you make the 2.1 million chip you are comfortable with the things that can go wrong. Let's not confuse theoretical situations with actual situations.

I think it is sad that raptor got more attention as to how Craig got started in poker than how deep he went and absolutely no hands except his elimination.

Same for Owen Crowe, no mention that I remember except when he was eliminated.

Two internet studs who got no airtime because they are boring for TV, and don't make an ass of themselves or other players at the table.

And I am not a Craig fan like every other 2+2er here seems to be. With his glasses and pale skin, looks a lot like Dan Druff, one of the ultimate douches out there, so I can't get past that one bit...

He unfortunately was never on a feature table. They rarely have video of you at any table other than a feature unless its A) a huge hand, or more likely B)its versus some other live pro.

and yes, I am extremely white.

Few things:

-"She looks about 30, but she's still only 24" lol sick burn.

-Holy rofl at the TM/cmarq openly saying he doesn't like her.

-Yeah thought Bishop looked like PSH, but when I saw that Nick Slawinski kid I immediately thought "HOLY **** THAT GUY LOOKS LIKE ADAM BANKS FROM THE MIGHTY DUCKS"

-Craigmarq looked way different and imo better without the glasses. (not ghey)

-They def showed a few Owen Crowe hands as I remember his tilted hat annoyed the **** out of me.

Craigmarq, to be honest, for some reason I wanted to hate you (maybe it was the sunglasses), but you seem like a pretty good guy, and you don't look anything like Dan Druff.
