Someone needs to gif Chino's celebration with the 10/10 when he sees the 9's.

most annoying moment of episode 29:

bishop calling station with his pair+fd then saying he knew he would win when a pair of 5s was good

stfu you degen you wanted to hit your gutshot/fd

you are terrible at poker and it makes me angry that you have more money than me. this game is tilting

Woulda been great except there was someone else in the hand, wasn't there? That would be a douche play on the other guy.

Pretty good FT line-up in the end. None that I'm specifically rooting against and I'm digging Marquis, Eastgate, Demidov, Schwartz and Rheem's not too bad either. Should be interesting for once. Pretty brutal for Hamrick though.

Nah, it would've worked: TM checks, Phillips bets 1M, Eastgate flats, TM shoves, Phillips folds, Eastgate tanks, clocks himself and calls at the last second with the nuts. Priceless imo.

Marquis seems to be a real good player, until he donk-4bet with AQ and got lucky.
Demidov survived 99 against TT.
I go with Philips or Rheem.

I like Dennis but he just had way too many good cards (he is a good reader, way to go on the AA read).

In the last EPSN podcast, interesting how Montgomery dissed Phillips and Suharto for having too many good cards and not deserving to be there. Never mentioned their names, but I thought he was talking about them.

Yeah cause these guys never got it in bad and sucked out the whole tournament.

+1 on this. Considering the circumstances and was what at stake this could have been the worst play of the tournament. I mean Dean didn't have 33 in that situation, that should have been obvious. I think you can also argue that is one of the worst beats given the circumstance. Dean had 11.5 million going into the hand. If he wins that hand against Craig he has something like 17 million, possibly a life changing situation. Instead he goes out 10th and should be mainlining Heroin for about the next 10 years.

That said, people make plays to get lucky and do.

I will be rooting for Craig if only for the way he handled the Tiffany Michelle incident.

Wow Ylon Schwartz is actually pretty good at chess at an international rating of 2259. I think i have to root for him although i really want to see one of the europeans win it, demidov and eastgate have been playing really well and seem like nice guys at the table.

Am only about a third of the way through the thread, and haven't watched the 2nd episode, only the first, but I thought these two things were noteworthy:

With like 22 or 21 people left, they showed the top 10 chip counts, and everyone in the top 10 except Joe Bishop (who was 2nd) made the Nov. 9.

I laughed a lot at the final shot in the first episode of that asian kid, about getting his money, his voice made it very laughable.

Hey Craig,

great tourney so far!
But how can you put him on a wide 3betting range even though you hadn't played with him before? It's not like 3betting light on the WSOP final table bubble is a standard move...

gl for the final table!
