Viffer's lucky you weren't the LC. I do understand why he thought he couldn't call, but a crying call was his only chance of leaving with money.

"His eyes blinked, He has a set"

Ike.... Why did you not show and instead just try to deny it? It was so funny... you were like "You mucked AK, no way, really, Ace King..?!?" I mean theres only like 20 hands left so do you really care about giving anything away?

Showing LC that he was right also bolsters his confidence/reduces tilt. why would you ever want to make your opponent play better when you can instead let him sit and stew wondering whether he folded the best hand again...

You sir are a genius and it was justified IMO his attitude was way out of line, he's gonna see you in his nightmares for many years to come, I can't imagine the amount of stick he's gonna get, when he goes back to his 1/2 local game.

He even said it at the end, "It was all just table talk, love you man." Which I believe. I think his only problem is that he forced it just a LITTLE BIT too much. He shoulda just let it flow, then it woulda been some all-star trash talk.

I think the same goes for the LC though. He seemed likable and genuine at first but then just came apart at the seahttp://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/https://d30akgybcov179.cloudfront.net/icons/biggrin-emoji.svgms after Rick needled him, but that's hard to fault. Rick was definitely over the top (not out of line) at some points. And it probably spiraled into some bad (worse) play.
I am not sure how to say this as I am not a trained psychologist but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I think Rick said it all in the beginning, he wants to have fun. I believe he leads a disciplined detailed oriented life being successful in business and a pilot. Because he wants to have fun, he takes on a persona at the table which is the opposite of how he lives his life and he can afford it. For instance, all the pilots I have known are meticulous leaving nothing to chance people. One mistake and they are in deep doodoo.

I didn't like Rick at first, but he won me over.

As for the LC:

I didn't care for the LC. First I don't like rap and then he tried to be something he was not. Be true to thyself. But seeing him as presented on TV, who really knows what type of individual he really is. I wish him luck.

What a tough table. In the clips shown on TV, there was a lot of betting, raising and re-raising. IMO, even pros find this type of table difficult. Even Chau who plays at the highest stakes, didn't enter many pots. I am sure the LC had no idea where he was on any hand he played. He was in way over his head and needed to figure out how to combat it. It didn't seem like he made any attempt. With the world class pros in the game who saw his weak tight game, he was bound to get run over. ABC poker wins money at the $1/2 level.

The LC was card dead which was not good for his style of play and obviously frustrated him. Then you throw Rick into the mix, can you say mega tilt.

Small bit of advice to the LC/s, never irritate the players to your left especially if they are world class.

How many here have tried to qualify as a LC. Not an easy road and there is definitely some crazy play.

I think this show rocks and I have learned a lot watching how the pros manipulate weaker opponents. Thanks PokerStars!!

On the Production side, I would like to make a suggestion. Having a LC last a week is probably a problem. If a LC goes bust quickly, so be it. Keep the same lineup of pros and bring in the next LC when one busts out. This will give the pros an incentive as more money is brought into the game and the game/s could be edited to last the week.

If a loose-cannon busts out in like the first episode, I've no idea how the format of this show can keep going for a week. Do they fill the LCs seat and just carry on like it was PAD or something? Similarly they can't just bring in the next cannon because they get 5 episodes each and they can't have all the cannons sitting in the studio waiting to be called, it just isn't practical for the producers.

I think Will Davis was busted in EP4, so his seat was taken by a pro for the remaining 2 episodes.
Anyway Im sure each LC show is all filmed in one day and chopped up into 5 'days'....they all wearing the same clothes for each episode.
But it would suck if an LC get busted on the 1st episode. The major pull of the show is to watch how an amature LC get fed to the sharks.

Hopefully the LC will gain a little EV from being on the show. At least he received some free advertising for his studio and lyrical skills. I hope someone pointed that out to him so he didn't sulk too much.

His lyrical skills are weaker then his poker game. He has to be DJ or something.

Way to the start the episode by being a douche there LC, and then repeating the same thing as earlier in the session.

i mean i wouldn't say he's terrible, but he definitely can't back up all his boasting. just seems like one of those guys who thinks any forced rhyme done with enough confidence automatically = sick rap

So true. LC's actions were rather, uhh, how do you say... stupid. He spent most of the show insulting the other players, "rapping" and tit-for-tatting Rahim. Stupidity incarnate. Really, it didn't look like he had a thought process at all, besides please, please, please let me get Aces (or queens) and and please, please, please let me hit trips, too, so I don't get bluffed off my Aces!
