Agreed, I really don't mind Howard or his conversations. It's much more preferable to dead silence that usually takes over starting on Thursday, or the stupid prop bet chatter that's all noise and no signal.

Didn't we already have that with the Italian week ? 3 pros against 3 funny looking lagtards of dubious skill who went out pretty easily. The biggest problem with that week was that with two groups of such different persons, they had nothing to talk about at all except ask Dario which city he was from. I didn't hear anything worthwhile from the other two Italians at all. It would be the same with your suggestion, the 3 Joe's would probably not know eachother at all and the whole table would be as silent as one with 6 Fergusons.

Why bet here? What could this accomplish? Doesn't Gabe need to have something like, exactly 22 or 33 WHILE Lederer has exactly KQ or 66/88/99 to make this bet logical at all?

If you noticed, Lederer looked at him like, what the frig are you doing? I am assuming Gregorich lost his head there for a second not realizing that the right play was to get Gabe out of the game and check down the hand. Lederer looked like he wanted to throw something at him.

and the last week we saw I felt was just too much GAMBLING. both are just "too much" of one thing.

they need to put these players together more. i like to see pure donks like Gabe take on Ivey, Durr and PA. I want to maybe see a cash game where some rich **** puts up 300K (3 buy ins)for someone like Gabe (or a 2+2 noob) to play against Ivey and the Gang. Whatever the noob wins, they get 2:1 from the pros as a handicap. the pros get REAL money at a level they are consistent with and some donks to take it from. the noob gets to take home a % of that 2:1 winnings (if they win) while the Rich cat gets the lions share. or maybe the Rich guy is the noob. whatever. just mix this **** up a bit more.

The problem is not every poker player wants to take on Ivey/PA/Durrrr in a absurdly high stakes cash game, sure maybe the rare extremely rich whale but *usually* they don't want that aired on TV... and if a 2+2'er were to play in a cash game @ that stake I would bet the average NVG'er or BBV'er (myself included) would be scared ****less.

Edit - And I would assume PA/Ivey and other nosebleed cash game players don't really have fun playing 20k sng's with a prize pool of half their normal buy-in.

just seen this finish this an hour ago for some reason just watching Gabe tilts me, PAD season lineup this year is pretty boring. I'm sick of seeing the same people over and over on tv playing poker but oh well what can you do. I still watch though lol so doesn't say much for me lol.
