I gotta say, very cool on Chris's part.
Obviously it's edited to aid, but it's almost like the whole week was a setup for that one hand. It was so perfect.

Ok, so I was the one (of many) who was whining about the waste that PAD has become. But... This 72 hand was well worth ALL the pain. It's as if someone just wrote such a beautiful script... So "pure" as some would say... Wow just thinking about the "build up"... 'The King is dead... All hail the King!!!'

the lineup was pretty nitty, if you took out ferguson and let viffer play it would have been much better, and mori knows it, I don't think he wanted to show up jesus by taking him off the lineup.

aside from this week's nittiness, the PAD cash game is the best format out of any of the poker cash game shows. You get to see every hand, the commentary, done well by Ali Nejad, is kept to a minimum so you can hear the players talk to each other, which is what I want to see. You get to see what a real high stakes live game is like, and how the players all act while playing. The hands aren't announced and analyzed and criticized and commented on, the action is merely driven by Ali, and nicely done at that.

haha I love how at the ending credits of the show Chris Ferguson is like "Im expecting them to gamble, and I'll be ready for anything"....and then goes on the show and refuses to play the seven deuce bounty. lolz what a nit

Anyone who thinks Adams has been playing nitty is out of their minds!! He's been playing superb this week.

None of them have been all that nitty actually. Besides maybe mike and phil. Mike has been very card dead though. And their table banter has been A+. And the great live interviews it's sparking. Antonio is jamming and giving great one-liners. Todd has being playing solid and has been mixing it up here and there. And is apparently going to berate Hellmuth more than ever before. Ferg pulled off an elite bluff - especially because of how much needling mike was giving him. That was freakin' Shakespeare!!

I hate how most 2+2ers think that if you're not ramming and jamming every single hand like an absolute maniac you are automatically a nit.

This week has been great. And can't wait for next week.

Yes but there are rarely pots over 50BB, thats the problem... I think so far only the Antonino-Mike-hand were both of them had two pair and the 72 hand were >50BB.

Ehhh,Ferguson should never appear on another PAD/HSP etc... show ever again, like, the game was somewhat nitty and Ferguson taking 1-2 minutes ever decision just makes the show 2x as boring.

i know that "thinking pose" he does where he puts a chip down on his hand, folds his hands under his chin and sits there for a minute like he is thinking about what to do when you know he already has the move calculated like 2 minutes ago and is just posturing...that is so tilting

Horrifying poker being played by Hellmuth. Limp/folding A8o oop to Antonio, completely playing fit or fold...he's just trying to make pairs/hands and never considering opponents range whatsoever, or trying to take somebody off a hand with his nitty image. Horrible.
