Wow you guys are negative! Give the new lineup/ host a chance before all the hate, huh? I am POSITIVE there will be some very interesting high level poker to enjoy.

my only question is, where's Negreanu? Once PS picked the show up, I figured he would be in like every episode... idk i know some people complain about him and stuff but he's still fun to watch and brings action to the game. Better him than Esfandiari imo

I was stoked for the new season, until I read the 1st post itt. How come this is the first I'm hearing about Gabe being let go? Prior to S6 I heard/read tons of stuff about AJ leaving, and I was upset then too, but why is Gabe gone?

I'm not really upset about the lineup. I'm sure it will get better as ppl get stacked/leave.

Does anyone have a link, or know where I can find out every player that will be on this season? Thanks in advance.

Don't know if anyone caught the preview hand on GSN's site but Norm is absolutely terrible. He drones on and on on his monotonous voice just describing the action. "A raise, a flat, another flat...check, cbet, call, fold, fold, turn, bet, fold." basically he's Vince Van Patten without the emotion and no Mike Sexton to back him up. He made one joke at the open that was terrible and that was it. How did GSN screw this up this much?

Negreanu appeared on day 3 of the taping, IIRC

Norm seems to be a bit stiff.

So Vanessa and Croak ask each other how much they have on the first hand? It's obvious from a viewers stand point that neither has more than $200k infront of them.

I'm depressed from that. I'm just going to dvr it and watch it when I can't sleep.

Antonio and Phil Laak gonna win another award for talking about action the most, and giving the least.

didn't think he was too bad, he does sound a bit bored which sucks but I hate commentators talking too much, which he doesn't seem to be doing.

Table sucks of course but I think Selbst+Peat+Doyle+some millionaires is just enough for me to watch it.

I don't see why either of them asked. They both had the minimum buy-in and it's the first hand ffs.

Norm sounds asleep. I think they have him reading from a script or something because he is way funnier and interesting in real life.

I hate, hate, hate this line up. IŽll probably skip this one, and I have never skipped a new HSP episode before (I only started watching "new episodes" starting with Season 3 I think).

not liking the new custom (blackjack style, made for tv) table, players seem shoehorned and uncomfortable

that's the way Norm always talks
