I played in this, and the footage they got was actually really interesting. People were whispering strategy/metagame stuff to each other. Lots of hands that weren't actually big pots were still cool. The tables were fun, talkative, etc. Old school players teamed up with new school players and had to argue over strategy. I'm extremely disappointed in how little they chose to show out of the great stuff they had.

I think that if this were aired like HSP or The Big Game with almost all of the hands, and the talk in between, it would've been much better.

Brandon Adams and myself....Brandon, btw, does a great job getting inside the poker's players head - definitely worth watching going forward.

I completely agree with Phil here. Three very notable things happened between Huck and I on two of the episodes I've played against him so far and all were edited out. One of them was him trying to hustle me in a prop bet to only be able to eat grasshoppers during the entire 6 weeks of the WSOP. I'm sure it will be better next time because some of the footage that was captured was gold. In future episodes, they will probably have some of it I'm guessing too. I didn't see the other matches I didn't participate in, but I would have to guess from what I witnessed, there will be classic TV moments within a lot of the episodes of this series and a LOT of potential. Playing in this tournament was no doubt one of the most fun things I've done in my poker career.

Who is the dealer at 2:05 (And obviously probably in much more of the video), I see him quite often on HSP etc, is he well known/a famous dealer? Would he get paid a lot better than "normal dealers"

tia for any serious answers to these stupid questions

I really like this concept and I enjoy watching it, even though most of it is "LOL shovaments", but there are so many fresh aspects of poker that even a grinder can enjoy watching it.

The drama between Anette and any player, common banter, having to play a hand as a team and keep a "poker face" and trying hard not to go "wtf are u doing", the time outs, the point system (yes i know, poker superstars did this too, but that was what, 5 years ago?)?, the younger faces in the game (not just standard daniel, mike, phil, sorry guys, you make good tv but should have some of the young/fresh people in too (aka phil g, annette, justin smith, vivek, selbst)

Just wish the show was an hour long, they show more than just the shoveaments, and they actually keep the hilarious bantor/side-props in.
